why would the fbi come knocking at your door for exploring the dark web?
Only if you're exploring the child porn/rape/snuff films/hire assassin/buy illegal shit/etc......they're trying hard to go after the scum that's into that, and the scum is trying even harder not to get caught doing it.
child porn is pretty explicit. you know it's coming before you get to it, generally speaking. so it's not something you would just happen onto, and if you did and quickly left its unlikely that you could be prosecuted for it.. as far as rape and snuff films are concerned, it's not illegal to watch those.

Well, it might not be illegal to watch them but it's illegal to kill and rape people, to torture them, to hold someone against their will, to abuse animals. Agencies will keep track of who has an interest in the hope of tracking down who's making them. Peter Scully is one who made child porn and snuff films for the deep web, was operating on an international level to make it harder to be caught, but who eventually did get caught. I'd guess that the worst stuff on there is made by serial killers, because it gives them an audience.

I'm very thankful, after reading this thread, that I don't have a TOR, nor know what it is (or how to get it), and have no desire to access the pits of hell.

Some rabbits holes are not meant to go down.

I'll stay with the Disney version. It's too seedy as it is.
TOR is just a search engine like google or chrome, but it's encrypted, so you can search stuff and no one can trace the search back to your IP. It makes a person anonymous.

Damn! It looks distastefully promising, I bet it's hilarious if you're watching it spaced.

Ah... speaking of Spaced, brilliant comedy.

Dem Brits!
Love! They were so smart with their references that it still holds up nearly 20yrs (holy fuck that's scary) later. Good time for comedy. Think Father Ted, The League of Gentlemen and I'm Alan Partridge were roughly the same time period.

Still remember July 19th.

Galway liberated from Indians, Marathon became Snickers, ha-ha cheekyfaerie ice age ends.
