What would make you delete your account here?

I'm just curious, since so many people are leaving. Also, what changes do you think would make people want to stick around longer?

Imo I don't think anything could change to make people stay. Some folk would still find a flaw and be displeased no matter what. Its natural for humans to crave perfection in places perfection doesn't belong. Just look at a human made building with symmetry and 90° angles that replaced the shifting shapes of a mountains and trees. Nothing in nature is perfect, which humans hate. People naturally what the things they can't have, and on a format like dxp where you can't physicly bulldoze over it and build something new the easiest choice is just leave. This will never ever change, as long as humans crave perfection and the world remains flawed.

I've noticed those troll threads too, they are annoying. But, you should stick around, just ignore those lame threads. There are some really cool people, in fact most are from my experience so far.

I personally don't want you to leave. I feel you should stay, but I did a rage quit once because I couldn't take the drama. I think many members been there. I just came back stronger though, so if you do leave I hope you decide to come back. Just ignore the dumb threads.

Sometimes I'm in the mood to be on dxp and other times, I'm not. I live life, start a new hobby, work, school etc. and I don't have time.

It's not uncommon for me to disappear and then come back.

That's totally fine and the way it should be, don't let it consume your life but don't delete and go away either. Fyza made a good point when she said that we all sort of form connections and friendships with people on here. People will miss you (you personalty too but everyone) if someone just deletes and goes away.

I think this mantra would suit this forum better and maybe even help deter some users of finding it all petty and pointless and deleting. This board is just one big sap fest of romantic drama and hardlyyyyy anything really helpful or relevant to the merit or purpose of this board.

One big drama fest in matters of the heart anything serious or knowledgeable is quickly shunned. It's like a confessional for you to read and insert your two cents on a bored day. I just joined and I'm quickly getting disillusioned with it as well. So this mantra applies would help us all better i gather.

For me personally, I've learned a lot here just in the short time I've been here. Astrology wise, relationship wise, life in general. Also made some special connections and I think just like anything else, you need to take the good with the bad, the light with the dark.

I don't really take this forum seriously enough to delete myself. And I don't really care if it's not as entertaining as it used to be, I haven't even been around that long. I post here when I'm bored (which is quit often). If I get bored of it I'll disappear like a typical Gemini but for now I think it's a cool place to keep yourself occupied. The "is he into me?," "do you think she likes me?," and "this sign played me" threads are a little annoying and repetitive but hey.

Glad you're sticking around exxtasyx. I think in some shape or form, we all learn something from each other on here.

You're perceptive 🙂 yes there's always a method to my madness, or in other words a purpose behind the things I do.

I guess we all have our own ways of looking at things, kino.

This always happen in waves. I've been a member since 2001, I deleted that account and came back in 2007 and I left but didn't delete my account as I would still get PMs from members and we would chat via messages. I became more active a few months ago just to fill out the board and it's way worse than it was before and I'm leaving again soon once my Libra fiancé and I get settled into our new home and I'll be focused on planning our wedding and won't have the free time to waste on here.

Not to mention happy relationships/people aren't welcomed here which is also the reason why a lot of people leave after they get in good relationships. You get tired of the negativity and bitterness.
