The Clinton's the Bush's legacy etc....

Nah, bro.
Me neither.
Grand children should not be burdened with their ancestors nor gain from them but learn from them.
We should be born with a clean slate.

They usually end badly. Look at the war of the roses and king Henry 8... They all tried so hard to keep that legacy alive. King Henry went through all that trouble only for all his children to die and tho Elizabeth was an awesome queen, she didn't have any children mainly due to her father's fucked up shit that damaged her for life leaving it to her cousins son to.rule... who...her cousin had an even more fucked up life after her first husband died. But how it all shaped the world is amazing. Tragic.... but amazing.
I think sociology and history are fascinating topics.
Plus if you keep legacies alive ..you keep old enemies.
I ❤️ legacies ?

True. Whatever we are reading today might not even be remotely close to reality. I don't consider history n mythology to be very different tbh.
Just fast forward to 26 seconds onward and that'll explain legacies for ya.

I come from a 'legacy' of hunters on both sides, my fathers father is a legendary hunter in my opinion and my fathers occupation on my birth certificate says 'hunter'. On my mothers side her family have hunted for generations I have photos of my great grandfather out hunting with his sons.I put allot of pressure on myself to perform but when I can provide meat for people in my family I feel really proud of it and feel connected to my ancestors. It's not exactly a family dynasty kind of thing but it's an unspoken importance to us. I look forward to passing it on.
So interesting. The meaning of legacy to me is something handed down or endowed or bestowed and includes an element of reputation. It doesn't include what you learnt or idiosyncrasies genetics etc. For example family resemblance is not a legacy.
May I ask you something? If you have a new family that you start? Will you continue it with your children? I mean what if your partner does not accept this?
I guess you are hardly likely to fall for someone who is against hunting. But you must know there are people who think differently outside of your legacy. I am not sure what you think of them or their ideas and thoughts.
But how do you feel when you encounter others not drawn to your way of life?

I do believe in family's legacy.
In what way do you mean? That they exist ? Or that they are of value? Are they ethical or non ethical? Or do we take them one by one as we find them to be and evaluate them as we find them?

No I am in fact so narcissistic that I want to change my last name so everyone after me will be recognized as my demon spawn.
Awesome 🙂

I think they're great because I never had one. Grass is greener.
Everyone has one potentially.
My father is a lawyer and they wanted me to be a lawyer. I just wanted to be an engineer or a renowned economist. I ended up becoming a cpa lawyer inheriting my father's law office. While I wanted to learn my father's skills and talents, I have some of my own. I have a reputation of being brillant; I've won competitions since childhood and I do well in class (getting scholarships and admissions to prestigious universities). People expect a lot from me.
