There were multiple answers I would have accepted to this challenge, but the Romanian wins her immunity and the 2 points with this post that is by far the most complete.

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a sphere will appear as a mirror image of a sphere if you place the mirror on all sides, and above and beneath

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a line will appear as a mirror image of a line if you place the mirror on all sides, but it will appear as a dot/circle if you place the mirror above and beneath

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a cone will appear as a mirror image of a dot/circle if you place the mirror above, as a bigger circle if you place the mirror beneath, as a triangle if you place it on the sides

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of another mirror??s face will appear as a mirror image of that mirrors face if you place is on all sides at an oblique angle, it will appear as a line if the edge is a line if you place it above or beneath

A three dimensional object reflected on a two dimensional surface can only appear as a two dimensional object. A sphere can only appear as a circle or oval in a mirror, no matter the angle at which the mirror is held.

Depending on where you placed the mirror on the sides of the cone, it could also appear as a modified triangle with it's shortest side represented by a curved line.

I intended to be lenient with the mirror. If the mirrors are not parallel or perpendicular to each other, the reflection will be of the surroundings.

Good job, sleep-deprived Damnata. 😄

Dryer Sheets, it is time to vote to rid yourselves of one of your teammates. Please PM your votes to me.

I knew when you said || you were referring to parallel planes.

So is the Romanian educational system up to par?😄

I'm impressed so far. 😄

How's the system organized there? Grammar and then secondary school, presumably. I know some of the Slavic states kind of combine secondary with what would typically be considered vocational training in the West. Then university if you need additional letters after your name for whatever specialty. Is that how it is or different?

Viewed in "a flat mirror", the reflected image of a sphere will appear as...

A Flat mirror is singular, no? How does one place a single flat mirror on all sides of an object?

This is crap

I am unable to see where I said the image reflected by the flat mirror could be viewed from only one location. Can you show me?

There was no one correct answer. Anything to the effect of the following would have been accepted, though:

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a sphere will appear as a circle or oval (ellipse).

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a line will appear as a line or dot (circle).

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of a cone will appear as a triangle, circle, or triangle whose shortest side is curved.

Viewed in a flat mirror, the reflected image of that mirror's face will appear as a succession of infinitely smaller mirrors, a line, or a reflection of the surrounding space.

I would have given a fair amount of leeway with the last one. The first three are quite specific.

"What is the capital of Arkansas?" is a question with one correct answer. This was not that type of question. The answer could have been phrased slightly differently and still been correct, per the couple of options I put in parentheses above. I am certain there are slight variations on the phrasing in addition to those few I listed that would have been acceptably accurate, as well.

You take physics, chemistry, and biology every year of high school? No wonder the States are falling behind. That's shameful. And the US calls itself first-world...

You basically have it set up so that you can choose who wins and loses

Negative. That's decided by how well the players play the game.

How do you play a game with no rules? How to you win a question challenge when the question has no one answer?

The rules for the debate were posted. The team that executed them best won.

You win a challenge with multiple possible answers by being the first player to post one of the possible answers.

Yeah but by knowing a lot of little shit we never master anything so we suck with jobs.

You seem pretty sharp. I'd hire you. What you don't already know you could learn.

That has always been my reasoning yes. Can't I just get to be a CEO straight off the bat? 😄

I'd be great at hiring and interviewing people. Well I'd say interviewing first and hiring after...but my cancer venus must lurk and investigate and play the Inquisition with them AFTER they are hired and they have their defenses down lol.

Note to audience: If NYAA gets switched to the Downy Dryer sheets, I plan to quit the game.

seriously..dont be like that!!!

I don't want someone on my team that refuses to defend a claim.

Okay if thats how you feel...

This is just for fun. If we were competing for money then I would back track and dissect every minute of what is going on. If you loose you loose. If you win you win. The Judge is the Judge.

The Goal is to work with your team..try to stick in the game for as long as possible and make it to the end..(If you want to be the champion) In reality you are going to work with people you don't like. You cannot and would not easily walk of a Job because you do not like someone) that is your bread and butter to pay your bills??_..

You still haven't changed your picture yet girlly!!!

Now as for me??_.I like my Airhead team and would not like to be switched..However if someone joins by team or I join theirs I don't care!!! WELCOM TO THE FAMILY.

The name of the game is Survival do what you have too??_.

I don't care. I don't want someone on my team that could potentially lose the debate for us, simply because he doesn't feel he has to defend his arguement.

Okay Sugar Dumpling!! 🙂

Somebody give GetMisted some candy( preferably a Lolly-Pop) to calm his nerves
@work don't have to time to upload a pic

GetMisted how bout you show NYAA how to debate by winning the game??_

OH I??M SORRY

Do you also believe that you will be judge unfairly and won't make it?

Well I was fine with not playing till no one objected to me playing.

And why are we focused on me.

My TEAM defended this not just ME.

I only contributed one right for that matter to be used in the debate and tried to help my team defend the ones they offered.

Seems like you guys are really threatened by NYAA's intelligence and debate skills.

lolololololol bitch doesn't even know the difference between you're and your and you're going to talk about his intelligence?

btw i'm not on any of the teams. i'm a completely objective third party. the flirting with nyaa after the "win" was just a bit sketchy and shows there's some serious bias there.

Your = belonging to whom it adresses

You're = a contraction for "you are"

But your... Opps you're right! ^.^

I do quite frequently not write the proper contraction. Especially, when I'm in a debate trying to keep up with the counter arguments. I even leave out whole words half the time.

Most of my posts do seem quite illiterate.

This is meant to be fun guys just chillax.

I had to defend why magic mushrooms were the best condiment last year, where's the logic in that? It's not about giving others shit it's about having fun and persuading the judge, in this case we won, who cares what the merits were based on.

Lighten up.
