The only annoying thing about our football is a match can end three ways into of two, which draws out the whole process if no one won the bet. Sometimes that makes for cliffhangers (like last night) but sometimes I appreciate the fact American sports always force a winner.
I best study some foreign sports cuz idk what most of that means 😛

Multiple threads seems a good solution for me as well. Maybe we can have a thread where we can communicate with each other and laugh about the game and another, more structured thread, that will not overwhelm new players and will make the game easy to understand (in which we will write our prognoses)?2 longer seasons per year seem ok with me but i have the same concern as you do - will players get disinterested by the longer season? Especially if they dont have any teammates? Maybe we lack advertisement 😄 A lot of teams didnt reach the 11 games cap this season and there was a significant amount of teams that had no players at all. Maybe if it is possible to make a joint team, say Sag Moons + Sag Suns, there might be more interest?
Personally, im fine with a longer season and playing alone in a team does not bother me.
That is a really good idea about a separate thread for banter to keep the game threads shorter. That will def be an addition.
Yeah I do wish there were more teams in the mix as barely more than half had a player or more. That is a goal to grow more teams some how. Ive also considered that if the same teams dont get players on them next season, perhaps people could start reppin their mars or mercury signs if need be.
Im glad people think they can handle a longer season.

In down for seperate threads and longer seasons. I think also limiting # games a person can play per week. Tbh with my work life I can't be waiting around for you to post the game list and 1 or 2 always got the fast easy ones while the rest had to wait out on time before we could even play another. Tbh that's a reason I even stopped playing. Just speaking honesty. It happened with the wrestling one too. I get we all are competitive but when it gets so lopsided on how many games played is double vs the rest of us... Yeah
I just like to have fun so I will go with whatever 🙂

As far as what games should be included..If you cannot research stats for the game.. It should be a match.
what do you mean?
I think it was suggested first team to a penalty or something..
That's not easily researched.
Games played against whom
Points per game
Stock prices overtime
Weather history
You could throw in there something like.. How many rebounds will a certain player have? How many yards rushing will a player have? Which team will have more converted 3 down attempts.
But you should be able to research stats on the bet.
