Engraved Natal Charts —?
I don't think there is a market for it. Charts are ugly, it's their interpretation that makes them beautiful.
It would be like engraving the musical notes of your favourite song and hanging them on the wall.

Yes Charts are ugly but again I have both a Libra and Taurus Stellium so mine wouldn't be.

It’s not dumb; people are buying engraved natal chart jewelry and personalized birth chart prints to frame and hang in their homes. I could see how wood carvings would be just as much sought after.
Pricing, depends on the quality of wood and line work. How much would it cost you to make it? Double or triple for the sale price.

I was ball parking $ 150 to $ 300 depending on Size and finish. I figure i'd let my cousin set his price for labor and materials, and I'd tack on for design.

But whether you want to put the laser engraver to use or work with wood, there are tons of things on Etsy to draw inspiration from if you’re feeling creative.
I think its a great idea! Especially as a gift for that person who has everything and may be into astrology.
Personalized gifts are always more valuable for the sentiment as well. You could do synergy charts as well for couples.

Would you ever do acrylic as a medium? Its a great option for someone who wants something more modern and sleek in their space.

yeah i'm looking for something that is more personalized customization. its hard to really make money off design. Why would my cousin charge more for a my design when he could just pull something similar for free off the internet. Its just not worth the effort imo.
Originally I was thinking about Personalized Family Crest/Coat of Arms. Nobody has really updated those designs in like 50 years. But I don't have time in my life to build those from scratch every for every order. so I would need to invest the time up front, to create giant repository of all the element, that could be assembled for each order, thus cutting time/cost. But that's a fuck load of upfront work. Astrology has less elements.

I searched natal charts on etsy and from a quick glance nobody is offering what you describe.
Just more cheaper prints...
I actually really love the idea. I would buy something like this for my sister or my own home. Especially since its more abstract in that the average person wouldn't know they are looking at something so personal. Its like a less cringe way of hanging a painted portrait of oneself over their mantel.

I've been thinking about putting more of my time back into design lately, and my cousin has a laser engraver, and I've been kicking around ideas create personalized designs for that.
My idea this morning is Personalized Engraved Natal or Synastry Chart Wood Plaques
This would obviously design this with both my venetian stellium's and be a well balanced and beautifully product that you could display proudly in your home. I'm thinking 12 sun sign background designs to choose from with the personalized chart.
Would this be something you'd buy?
what would you be willing to spend on it?
