in Scenario 2 - where the new girl looks like you....either he just has a definitive type, or he wants to wear your skin.
in Scenario 1, however, could go two ways...you could feel like you're the upgraded version...or feel like you're the runner-up. Couldn't keep her, so he settled for you kind of thing
Lol!
& the two of you aren't discussing it later in private?

I'm so crazy that (in scenario 1) I think he thinks he's upgraded. Which boy would want a crazy girl but the right boy?
Someone who looked exactly like me? I'd instantly turn gay and steal them obviously. I'm gourgous.
Eeeeew.
I actually went through this with an ex. That was my reaction. That, combined with all the other ridiculous shit I learned about him it just screamed "this guy has issues." I was the first relationship he'd had since he'd split with this chick so it was kinda weird and creepy. It's like okay, was he dating me for me, or dating me because I looked like an ex he apparently hadn't completely gotten over?
Some people could argue that it's about "type," but a type is "dark/blonde" hair. Not "looks exactly the same."
Weeeird.

Let's ignore the fact my second post is in complete contradiction to my first 🙂
Libra pass
I think I'd be more creeped out by scenario 2 to be honest. At least in scenario 1 it isn't me he's obsessing over.
I suppose he could just have a type... it depends on how much she actually looked like me I guess.

Right?
Again, type is one thing. If a guy consistently dates blondes or brunettes, fine. They clearly have a thing for that.
But when it's "all your girlfriends look exactly the same" that's just what the hell territory haha. It's a strange concept, really. All the guys I've been involved with have been SO different in types. But I don't really have a "type" tbh. It's whoever the hell I click with haha.
The weird things you learn about individuals by observing things like you mentioned... People are like "oh that's his type." No, it kinda screams "I have issues" sorry. If a guy consistently dates women that look like THAT one girlfriend that he had a hard time getting over or was caught up on, he shouldn't be dating, tbh. He's got some soul searching to do.
Yeah, I mean I guess I sort of have a type...if you see a tall dark and brooding guy walk in a room ....you can almost guarantee I'm getting all weird lol
But I think if I met someone that looked identical to my ex that would probably automatically eliminate attraction for me because I will think of my ex and they all pretty much disgust me at this point

Yeah, you'd think that'd be the common response. But some dudes have mommy issues, so...
Probably just LMAO! in both scenarios. It's what I've done in the past anyway...

Scenario 1 - you see a picture and/or meet your significant other's ex, and he/or she looks just like you. Like you could be twins.
Scenario 2 - you run into your ex and his/her new significant other, and they look just like you.
If you wouldn't think twice about it, then this doesn't apply to you.
