Could you theoretically find people in your third world country to pay you to store their stuff on your property?
Could you convert fractions of your property and turn them into parking spaces? Zero maintenance, no hustle
with your tenants.
Would you consider land flipping ?
Would you rent out in the short term to get out of your situation?

California is a big diverse state. Different regions have different communities. Speech tempo, mannerisms, choice of words in how they say something etc. some times it's slight but I can tell the difference. I'm a people watcher.

How much land do you actually own? If you've got 10 acres you can lease it out to a farmer to graze stock. It won't make you a whole lot of money but it'll be something and the farmer will probably give you a sheep to eat which goes a long way. He might even be your husband, the farmer not the sheep...
Or get your own sheep, in spring farmers give away lambs for cheap when their mothers have twins and can't feed them. You have to hand feed them for a few weeks and then they feed themselves then you can probably sell them to a restaurant or butcher them yourself and fill the freezer.
A bag of milk powder to feed them costs 70 bucks and will feed two lambs, you might get $ 150 per lamb idk the prices well but I've made cash that way in the past. It's fun feeding them 2x a day as well lol.
