It's not about closessness, it's about communication. It's obviously bothering you or you wouldn't have dedicated an entire thread to it, right? It's not privacy to talk about a person right in front of them while pretending to honor anonymity because this is all obvious. Real privacy would have been to send a private message directly to the person involved.

Hmm, I think it's because they have tons of protein. I'm a bit concerned about that hydrolized plant protein. Beware of any allergies you might have. I have to do some research to see if that is any good. I'll compare yours to the ones I eat and get back to you.

Yeah, that's the dirty trick. People are all too aware of MSG and its negative connotations, but we aren't familiar with HVP. So the package says no MSG but uses a derivative of it, the hydrolized plant protein. It's like when people say "I didn't lie; I just hid the truth." HVP acts as a filler and taste enhancer (like MSG) in vegetarian frozen foods like burgers. So disappointing

Considering what goes into most meat, which is meat from factory farms, I'd say this is the By FAR the better options. At least no animals were tortured in the making of those patties and you are being spared the tons of chemicals pumped into their bodies. :/ When in doubt, go veggie I say! ✊?❤️ More and more athletes are going veggi/vegan, and for good reason. Until science perfects growing meat in labs for those who want to eat meat, vegan is the best solution for health, animal cruelty, and environmentalism issues.

Ugh! I edited after you quoted me. But, yes, even grass fed cows ("beef" is what we calls cows after we have killed them. They are cows when they are alive, Ands.) Not unlike our discussion about HVP/MSG,companies have figured out a loopholes in the "grass fed" and "free range" labeling systems. Unless you can go down and visit a farm yourself, I would be VERY careful. For example, the only eggs I eat are those from my boyfriend's family. They raise chickens and this birds are spoiled, happy, playful feathered-butts. It's all about standards, and I'm finding that standards mean sacrifice. I also learned to take it one step at a time.

Many sites warn against it. Eating that pack won't hurt you, but be careful about regular consumption of foods with that ingredient. Unfortunately, even the vegetarian alternatives to "fast food" need to be treated as junk food because, despite being vegetarian, they may still be unhealthy. :/

Yeah, that's the dirty trick. People are all too aware of MSG and its negative connotations, but we aren't familiar with HVP. So the package says no MSG but uses a derivative of it, the hydrolized plant protein. It's like when people say "I didn't lie; I just hid the truth." HVP acts as a filler and taste enhancer (like MSG) in vegetarian frozen foods like burgers. So disappointing

Considering what goes into most meat, which is meat from factory farms, is say this is the By FAR the better options. At least no animals were tortured in the making of those patties and you are being spared the tons of chemicals pumped into their bodies. :/ When in doubt, go veggie I say! ✊?❤️

Ugh! I edited after you quoted me. But, yes, even grass fed cows ("beef" is what we calls cows after we have killed them. They are cows when they are alive, Ands.) Not unlike our discussion about HVP/MSG,companies have figured out a loopholes in the "grass fed" and "free range" labeling systems. Unless you can go down and visit a farm yourself, I would be VERY careful. For example, the only eggs I eat are those from my boyfriend's family. They raise chickens and this birds are spoiled, happy, playful feathered-butts. It's all about standards, and I'm finding that standards mean sacrifice. I also learned to take it one step at a time.
i'm fine with eating animals though lol
i don't mind vegetarian stuff as well
