You're a professor?!!!!

Some of our profs in Comp Sci were pretty hot. And Cute. Married too. Oh well.

I'm taking a refresher college algebra course this rotation as I haven't touched math in at least 7 years. Its an online class but I needed to visit the professor on campus for her signature to get in. I walk into her math lab and strangely enough, I don't see the a blue haired, one eyed, barely walking, semi crazy lady math instructor I'm used to from years past. The only person in there is this SMOKING HOT, YOUNG, BEAUTIFUL LONG HAIRED gal sitting behind a desk texting away. I figure she's just an assistant so I politely say...

"Excuse me, ma'am. I'm here to see Ms.(X). Do you know when she'll be in?"

Young, Nubile, Nymph Sitting behind the desk: *She looks up from whoever she's texting* "I'm Ms.(X). How can I help you?"

It took about a 5 second pause to process the reality that THIS was my instructor before I was in a position to engage her in further conversation.

Times have CERTAINLY changed in regards to Math Professors 😛

Don't mind at all! Ironic since you mentioned "Software Development Life Cycle", I spent my 20's in Software development. Producer (ala Product Manager) / Designer (content creation from design to writing)

Much truth to this. Usually if something is affecting one of you, its affecting MANY of you. For example, I've seen weeks where many of the DXP ladies are just ANGRY as hell and the smack is flying around like crazy. And it won't just be one. It will be MANY that start letting loose around the same time.

but no, regrettably so, I am not a professor, I was going down that road but got tired of jumping through hoops in school so I sit here ABD (All But Dissertation - the final requirement for a PhD). I've contemplated completing it, but it won't really do much for me. Actually, my boss would have considered me over qualified for my current position if I had my PhD.

I do work for a University conducting research (crunching numbers) and do have my own research assistant. Gives me more time to be on DXP when I'm at work 😄

I have thought about taking some classes as I can pursue whatever is available here for free. I'm thinking veterinarian medicine.
