I think this goes with the argument that, there are some people who believe that we should live in a progressive type of society, where everyone is equal and we respect each other our differences, and this is what's right and we need to hold everyone to those standards.

I'm apart of an online community that meets every so often for meet and greets (occasional parties). A community full of folks not ashamed of their sexuality. Asking men not to comment on sexual pictures is like asking a bear not to shit in the woods. So it surprises me that she put it out there, then gets upset when someone comments. But really, come on, she put it out there because she WANTED to have men look at her that way and she WANTED men to complement her. So some got crude, in their twisted way, it is a complement. But this bullshit of seeking validation and attention in the form of selfie whoring and "modelling" on Instagram is getting fucking ridiculous and should be seen with sadness because that's what it is- sad. Yet, we have clueless fucks embracing and defending such behavior under the guise of "empowerment."
