Soz I was typing to fast.
Men often confuse the concept of "nice" and boring. Or they fail to realize how they're not nearly as "nice" as they like to think they are.
When a woman says a man is "too nice" it's also code for 'we have absolutely nothing in common' or 'this guy makes me feel uncomfortable and guilty for wanting to do what I want'.
That being said, women know that bad boys are bad. Maybe they don't want to come out and admit that they know their boyfriend sucks and that by extension they suck too for picking him, but they know. Doesn't stop him from being thrilling like a rollercoaster ride or a great lay though.

AMEN! I prefer "Good Men". They are honest, strong, compassionate, won't pussy foot around tough decisions but know how to treat people with decency.

I honestly believe it was a matter of time. Some just take longer to get to the punch line. You know what's scary? I have two very close friends who are involved in law/law enforcement who both say my ex fits every profile for a serial killer. I'm glad I'm out and we're done....or as done as one can be when sharing kids....

I think this discussion is one sighted. If men play "nice" to get sex. What do women play to get what?
Women you play a role as well. No victims here.
But I do believe that for everyone there is an equal or perfect missing piece.

Maybe the older generations had it right; courting was a way to see if two people were compatible.
But then again you think your life is boring without excitement. Time will tell you different. Extreme events such as cancer scares and sudden death(s) or near death(s) will focus the mind.

Impending disasters helps to focus us on what really matters. In life excitement comes just not always the good kind; mostly the bad kind and usually way more then we care to have.

There are no good men IMO.But it makes a hell of a lot of difference for a man to actually want to try to be a good man. Then there's the rest who've given up. That's your basic choice.
