I'm supposed to have an answer to this by tomorrow. I feel like my two motivations to move into leadership, are the same for all supervillain Taurus leaders. Money and the to control the outcome to how I want it. these are bad reasons. Give me better reasons to use please.

If you can do a better job than those in charge already surely that's a good reason.

Simple answer I want to inspire people.

I am too temperamental to really consider myself as a good leader, but I also really don't like having people above me. I prefer being my own boss and not having to answer to anyone. Also, leadership roles come with more responsibility which I am too lazy to deal with.

However, I treat everyone fairly and go by one set of rules for everyone. No exceptions to rules, no favoritism, none of that. I am also nurturing and genuinely care about people. I also have no problem being honest with people.

I would want a leadership position partially for the ego boost, but also because I know I would be fair to everyone and be someone a team would enjoy working with but respect at the same time.

I like being the leader, but solo. Like I rather work alone then hire people to help me. I'm extremely talented when it comes to installing tile, and can manage everything on the job from materials to installing. When it comes to working with other people I find it distracting. I also have a hard time being honest with people, and telling them what to do. Contrary to popular belief I actually feel bad making other people feel bad, even if it's the truth and truly needed. I also find it hard to fire incompetent workers, because I feel bad making them jobless, and will actually give people more then they deserve. Which fucks me over in the long run every time. I'll cut myself short and let people leech off my success just to make others feel happy and useful. Even if I truly dislike them as a person. Because of that I enjoy being my own boss, and my own leader. I just work better that way.

I'm trying to complete a mission statement questionnaire I'm having answering the following question;

"If I had unlimited time and resources, and knew I could not fail, what would I choose to do? I would: "

what is the most corporate/professional sounding way to say I'd start a cult.

“Mutual” benefit.

Since im already a leader I might as well put myself on the 2032 presidential campaign ballot. I just need to find/hire some cabinets.

I've got a couple of pine ones.

😕 I'm confused

Anyway that was just a figure of speech. I am a leader though so that part ain't a figure of speech though sometimes I wish it was.

Why do you/(you not) want a position of Leadership?

What makes you think you would be a good/bad Leader?

To your first question- I don't seek leadership, it just finds me. I like working by myself, but at times I don't mind working in groups of people.

To your second question- I like organizing, and I can be OCD. My ENTJ-ness coupled with aries sun/cap moon needs efficiency, and it thrives on action...aka getting shit done. I've learned to be sensitive to others over time (merc in aries), which may have come across too blunt in certain circumstances.

Either you have leadership skills naturally or you don't. Most people do not.

Within 6 weeks, people (your employees) will size you up and treat you accordingly regardless of the title you might carry.

Did you get all liquored up just to come in here and mansplain that shit?

You asked the question and I answered. I wouldn't put you in charge of an ice cream stand in the middle of a Texas summer. I hope that you can prove me wrong, but I'm not feeling very confident about that.

Well no, that was not the question at all. I'm going to have to ask you to put more effort into paying attention to what's going on, but I believe you have the ability to make the necessary changes to meet my expectations.

So far only one person on this thread has the right answer to what being a leader is. And let me just note, as being a leader you can still do what you want as long as you own your own. You're not bogged down by someone else.

And I would think you fire signs would know what a leader truly mean. Come on fire signs, yall gone let us air signs outdo yall?

From my experience fire signs are too aggressive leaders . Lack understanding towards those not on same line as them. I have had best working experience with scorpio bosses .

I agree with the fire signs are too aggressive leaders. I've had my time with a Sagittarius boss and it was hell. Surprisingly we ended up as good friends years down the line long after I quit working for him. And we talking the same sag dude I wanted to fight. I done lost contact with him now.

When it comes to jobs (brrrr I almost hate that 3 letter word...job) I'm best suited to own my own working for myself. Respectively me and people don't coexist together.

I actually had two sagittarius bosses in mind when i was writing about it. Also a leo who is not my boss but have worked with him and its just not in sync (the understanding at work) . I also had another leo boss long back and i got along very well with her and she was very sweet to me personally but somehow we never delivered good results. After her a scorpio joined in her place and we suddenly started delivering in that department . My work rapport with him became a matter of jealousy for my colleagues as according to them he always gave me more opportunities than them . And we had no personal association . Just the work because of results became so satisfying for me . I had similar experience with another scorpio boss in my first job.

Hm not bad. My very first boss was a Taurus. A rather fat one about 400 pounds roughly I would say. Long story short, let's just say he was more fit for the comedian industry. I can't say all Taurus bosses or leaders are like the one I worked for. He was not leadership material at all. Let's put it like that.

You're right. Not everyone has leadership skills naturally but anyone can get there.. it will take work(like anything else) , self work and learning from other "leaders" and having self confidence.

Starting somewhere with a little bit of leadership responsibility and improving on that can go a long way to be a leader too to gain experience.

A mistake is to look over those who do not possess this naturally but instead see their reasons to want to be put* into a leadership position and see where they can improve and how others they wish to lead will benefit with the skills they do* possess "naturally".

In a perfect world, I would wholeheartedly agree with you.

We currently do not live in that world. Some people really do mean well and do try but it doesn't last long and productivity and team cohesiveness tends to fall off.

Those 'leaders' get promoted (lol) to remove the irritation (where they usually fuck things up worse) or they get replaced.

They make movies about this sort of thing all of the time. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They also make movies where roles are filled with

characters who don't necessarily "fit" their desired positions but manage to prosper through hardwork and lessons learned anyway. Come on now.

And...I'm in this world with you. I know what its like. Don't do that lol..

no, Its not perfect, no where near, but through hardwork, strong desire and a means to get there we all have the potential to do what we want in this life. Yeah, maybe Cheesy or woowoo but there is proof all around, all around* and I'm sure you have conqured things yourself, warangel, having succeeded in places you may not have been Naturally gifted in but succeeded anyway💪

It is the same for everyone

On this planet 🌎

Those aren’t bad reasons. Those are honest reasons!

No one assumes more responsibility without the expectation of more pay. And steering the ship comes with the job description. Controlling the end game is why a leadership position warrants the extra pay.
