What music, or albums influenced your DNA growing up?

My mum listened to the village people, culture club, Toni child's, micheal Bolton, Hermans hermits, Enya and enigma.

My dad listened to abba, gypsy kings, dire straights, Roy Orbison, Neil diamond, loads of reggae and Fijian music.

The albums that were a big part of my growing up was the body guard soundtrack and madonnas immaculate collection.

My mom didn't listen to misic, dad liked Tchaikovsky and Bill Hailey and the Comets:

I was influenced by my big brother's music; Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Devo.

I developed my own taste in music with The Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Peter Gabriel, and Missing Persons.

Listen now to anything/everything.

Wtf? Religious households don't play music? That makes me want to cry......so angry right now.

I thought that dentist scene from Simpsons was taking the piss out of that blue velvet movie.

I love matt groening, he's definitely Aquarian with his funny observations about the way people live their lives, same with Seinfeld

Speaking of music.....I love Simon and Garfunkel, grew up listening to them. I also love Distrubed, and they recently did a FANTASTIC cover of "Sound of Silence".

Me too @MoonArtist - one of my personal faves is Paul Simon Live in Central Park - and someone posted this on my FB wall and it is a great cover.

Mumford and Sons did a good cover of The Boxer, too.

So sad about all the vinyl my parents tossed out, now that players are coming back (tons of them at Urban Outfitters).

My mom was all Elvis, all the time, with a healthy dose of 50's doo woo type stuff, Sonny and Cher, Johnny Mathis. Now she loves Josh Groban and Michael Buble, lol.

My dad was all over the place. Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, Crosby Stills & Nash, The Eagles, etc.

Moreover, he loved specific songs. I have a Spotify playlist that are just songs he loves and played a lot while we were growing up.
