New Years Rants... what pissed you off in 2013?

What's with these pseudo relationships?

I read some of these threads and it's women talking about how a guy looks at her in the office they work at... and he is hers. That they live miles from each other and text every few months... but she loves him and wants him to be faithful to her. That she's met a guy online, they??ve talked for a few weeks, met once and now she knows so much about him they are planning their future.

Do people really think it's that easy? That we are not complex individuals that hide much from OURSELVES... that someone else can be so bold as to claim to KNOW another after a few weeks or months? Wtf?

I??ve lived in Japan and that culture has an epidemic of surface relationships. —Host?? bars are now just as popular as —Hostess?? bars... which are just modern day Geisha services. Men/Women go to these bars to get entertained, charmed and showered with attention from the opposite sex. They pretend.. but at least everyone involved is aware of the illusion being created. Some people on here have no idea that they??re living in fantasy but think it's real.

Real relationships are too much work these days... so people have fantasy ones.

It's kind of insulting. I??ve put in years of face time, tears, arguments, vulnerability, compromise, sacrifice, love and support for my relationship. All of it has enhanced and added to the experience. Real work with real results = real relationship.

So fuck you to all the people putting in scraps to receive scraps and calling it a relationship.

Another thing... don't push people to drink your Kool Aid!

Just because you??ve found a philosophy that works for you at this moment in your life... doesn't mean it will work for others. Doesn't mean you will continue to follow this philosophy either. Chances are you will try it out, discard what doesn't work for you and keep what does.

When you push your own agenda and deem people who don't agree with you as —not enlightened??... you are getting into mind control, mental coercion and cult tactics.

It's annoying

Jesus christ. Hallelujah. It's because people see and observe that it WORKS for those types and then it FAILS for them. Everyone is so different. Plus alot of events in life will shift you, will make you see things differently too, whether that's death, money, inheritance, betrayals, testing loyalties, responsibilities, ect.

Good post. But I don't agree that just because you shed blood, sweat & tears to make your relationship work, that it makes it more real than other relationships that haven't gone through the same thing. Plus only the two people involved in a relationship can determine its true authenticity. Long suffering or whatever you want to call what you went through to make is not everyone's cup of tea, nor does it mean that all relationships have to go through something similar to be considered real. Compatibility & other factors play a huge part on how a relationship between two people plays out. Some are smooth & some are not.

Anyway, good for you on finding someone worth fighting for.

The only thing that REALLY pissed me off in 2013 is that I moved my entire household somewhere ... and hated the location.

We visited, we checked everything out ... hung around stores, restaurants, parks, and the place seemed like a piece of heaven. But, living there was a nightmare ....


So, we moved back.


Other than that ... nothing really angered me in 2013

By rejecting it you are just taking a stand for the status quo, going against the progression of humanity. It's painful but just like a worm has to break free of its cocoon to become a butterfly (that shit looks gross), you have to expand your knowledge to improve yourself and live your divine purpose.

Maybe it's the new year that has me wanting to give this message; but everyone just has to look inside to find their higher purpose. I'm sure a lot of you just wake up and go through the motions, but tomorrow you should wake and smell the roses!

Human consciousness is continually evolving. What we believe now is a completely different and improved theory of what we used to believe. I just think that it's a shame if you don't present yourself with new and conflicting ideas on how modern society and our species is progressing. Especially on a site like this. We are all gathered here because we believe that astrology is real. But yet it's not socially accepted. I've never used the words enlightened or philosophy in my posts because the more enlightened or aware you are, the more you realize you just don't know everything. I don't like government involvement in Marriage.

The government says you must inform them the moment your relationship status changes... so they can determine how much money they can take from you.

You need to report to the government when you enter this world (birth certificate) when you share your world with another (marriage certificate) and when you leave this world (death certificate)

This has nothing to do about the life of this person... just about how they fit into the system, how their earning potential effects the system and when that earning potential has left the system...

that saddens me more than pisses me off, tho...

I've never had a post directed towards you and certainly have no interest in how good your life is.

By saying koolaid you're tacitly criticizing my post. I don't think that you would be doing that if it's your "past reality". Perhaps don't falsely define my posts as "philosophy" or "mental coercion". Are you insinuating that you have no direct control over your thoughts and feelings? Or that everything I say can't be backed up with research and the worlds top minds? My message was compassionate, I just have no patience for naivety. Seems to me that there is a deeper part of you which is rejecting what I've said. This. It's why I get snarky sometimes. There's inexperience, and there's common sense. Usually the latter is what's being abused and why their situation is bs. It's like WHY would you do that? On the plane of common sense, why would you think doing/saying that would get you any sort of results you desired?? Here's what went wrong. Now learn from it, don't do it again, and stfu.

In the "Real World"..over all it's been a bu $ y but good year for me. The summer was a blur from being so busy. This winter I get to kick back a bit.

Here? lol..pissed off is too much energy. Knowledge that some think like I do is a good thing.

You covered it pretty well in the op. Yet, didn't add those same superficial folks who get pissed off because they didn't hear what they wanted to hear.

The liars, the fakes, the ass kissers, the drama queens, the cliques and the stupid fake contests that take place, ..same old shit. The clique people..lol. Ya know, one of their buds gets called on the carpet and their fellow parasites jump in as if they are going to change that fact. 😢
Those who delete and use their back up screen names...no brainer there.

COMMON SENSE would be one of my other biggest issue with people. It makes me realize it is these people why we have scammers & deception in the world and why scammers are thriving. Including the men out there who have used dimwits because the dimwit put out quick, and before she wakes up the next morning thinking she's in love, he's onto the next dimwit. Women really need to wake the fuck up.

Most recent the hypocrites who don't read, call people homophobes (without understanding the definition), we have been watching social media about Miley accused of turning on the dime to slut with most everyone knocking her (cuz social media dictates it), social media dictating how cool it is to have casual sex (the FWB failure), yet a guy like Duck Dynasty airs his opinion on all of the above, and he gets crucified. (and not by A&E, that's separate and their entitlement) True hypocrisy right there. The most recent the parasite racist whose made herself known, segregation..But hey, this is the world we live in.

It's the people that do not follow blindly when told to follow, the people that question something that doesn't sound right, the people that can see the forest for the trees, the people that DO make a few enemies for fighting for what they believe in, the people that do not care what other's think of them, or say about them. All of these people will be the ones that when shit should ever hit the fan in this world, no matter what will have a much greater chance of survival than the idiots who can't think for themselves. The best part is...I'll be able to identify the difference between the two..immediately!!

What pissed me off on DXP?

New people who tell us one side, or their version of events and then ask us to interpret the other person's behavior. This would not be so bad if they took the advice and ran with it however when it is not what they want to hear..they become hostile. I can't take it.

These long distance and I mean 2 different countries or continent relationships. Skype and texting does not a relationship make. Here I am giving advice to these people only to find out they have been having a technological affair of the fingertips. I can't.

In RL?

I seem to have ran across a few people who have "come up in the world" and OMG are they brand new..like look at me now..I'm gettin paper. I want to be like really though.
