it happens every 4 years and it's always the same boring shit, the only surprising thing is how the sports reporters manage to fake being interested in what's happening. It's admirable.

This basically sums up the Aussie attitude to competitive sport... Surprise! we may not even turn up half the time- coz beer.
If we win it's a fluke - the only way to get us to tune in 😆
