Haha actually none of my past dates had beards, lucky all shave. Thank goodness. It's weird I like clean, trimmed or bald, or alittle sideburns or goat tee but short and neat.

Maybe I'll experience a beard and comment on it later.

Without a specific person in mind, I usually prefer a clean shaven man. But I've seen men who look wonderful with a beard if it's a full beard, not goatee, tidily trimmed so it doesn't stand/hang much from the face.

I dated two men with beards like I described above. They looked quite distinguished with them, and the hair was very soft so no issues of being scratched by it. Neither was going for the lumbersexual look - that wasn't in at the time.

With one of them, the beard suited his face better than being clean shaven, IMO. His chin was what is sometimes called weak, so with the beard, it made his chin look more balanced with the rest of his face.
