I also don't understand why we continue with the dog and pony show of "elections". Why we don't demand terms limits for Congress...why we let them get away with their high ass salaries for literally doing nothing but fight like middle schoolers. Why we let them get away with raising their salaries and while majority of us can't feed their families etc. Why are they exempt from everything they push on the American people.
Nothing will ever change no matter who is in "charge" ....yet we continue to fight with each other over bs with out actually trying to change anything at all. Majority think things will be better with the next person then after 4 to 8 yrs...it's oh things will be better with the next one. It'll never happen because nothing has changed except the "face". 🤦🏼♀️
So protest?
I think it'll have to be a little more aggressive than a simple protest but I guess it couldn't hurt but tbh...I dont think people truly want change...we became comfortable and complacent and would rather go along with the show.
Are you willing to sacrifice your life for it?
For true change... absolutely
So why don’t you start something then?
Because I'll be ignored. Like I said, no one truly wants that change.
There are several examples of protests in the US directly effecting/changing laws in this country.
Let me know when they actually change. Talking about it and it happening...like officially on the book...are two different things.
Umm.. the March on Washington in 63' changed quite a bit.
Cool...let me know when stuff that's happening right now does.

"Proposed", "committed" ,"discussed" etc. CA ordered to stop training on neck holds, Memphis "introduced" not implemented yet, new policy and DC voted to hold police accountable. Seattle bans tape on badges.
Taking down statues, changing names is just pandering imo.
Meh 🤷🏼♀️
That article is two months old. If you actually followed politics and actual legislation in both national and state congresses.. you'd know a lot of this has already been implemented.
So you give me a 2 month old article and not what's going on right now. 🙄. Sounds about right...and I guess I should've payed attention to the date 🥴

Soul, just say you support Trump and go. You're not slick with trying to steer people into voting "third party" either LOL!
