I want Bernie back so badly but he’s not coming back sadly this election, maybe ever. If I had to choose the lesser of two evils, which it always seems to come down to nowadays, I won’t vote for Trump I know that for a fucking fact. His comments alone about the recent fires over here solidify that for me considering over half of CA’s forests are federal land. I hate that these are our choices but somehow, that’s what it is. If we could get a real movement together to vote someone else in besides the big two running right now, I’d be all over it. But as it stands, every vote for someone else besides them is a vote that get Trump back in and that can’t happen.... just please no.... no more Trump. America is a fucking laugh stock enough.

Very true. The content of the subject in general is very predictable, but also necessary imo. Even if it does nothing more then vent pent up opinions people have little to no control over. It's like that for me at least. Dxpnet is somewhat a safe place for that.

They keep throwing these shiny balls in every direction to keep the focus off the shitty job they've been doing for decades and they've trained us to keep chasing those balls around just to bring them back so they can toss em again. Repeat the process.

If you live in a place that isn’t going to end up Biden then you are essentially splitting the vote.
Republicans typically vote for whichever Republican candidate it is whether they like them or not.
So say 45% of the country votes Trump then if Biden gets 47% he would win.
However if you live somewhere I’m a Red state and you don’t like Trump then if you vote for a third party candidate that will only get 1-3% of the vote then let’s say Jo Jorgensen gets 6% of the vote and Kanye West 1% - now that 47% for Biden becomes 40% and those “anti-Trump” votes just got him elected again.
That’s why our voting system sucks. We don’t have ranked choice or another option but to vote for someone we don’t necessarily like.

The USPS has been a joke for years. They've been talking about "defunding" them way before now because it's been losing money. Hell, I can't even get the correct mail anymore. IMHO, one mistake Trump made, if he meant what he said about draining the swamp, was not immediately cleaning out holdovers from the previous administration in DOJ, the State Department, and potentially CIA and NSA.
On that theory, bureaucrats in those organizations would potentially not "play ball", although ideally they should be professionals who either got with the program or would resign--in other words, think of it as an IT staff in a fortune 500 company, loyal to the previous CEO, who decide to stay on and sabotage the company's systems because they disagree with the new CEO.
That has happened in private industry (I know of a few instances where similar things have happened), and results in firing and potential criminal charges being brought.
Thats what I was getting at. And I think Trump entered into office with the mindset that career people would be the professionals as I have noted.
Obviously (and I'm certain certain quarters here would disagree) that wasn't the case, given the bullshit we've seen the past 4 years.

If I lived in a red/swing state I’d vote Biden.

Why are people saying voting for a third party is like voting for Donald?
If you live in a place that isn’t going to end up Biden then you are essentially splitting the vote.
Republicans typically vote for whichever Republican candidate it is whether they like them or not.
So say 45% of the country votes Trump then if Biden gets 47% he would win.
However if you live somewhere I’m a Red state and you don’t like Trump then if you vote for a third party candidate that will only get 1-3% of the vote then let’s say Jo Jorgensen gets 6% of the vote and Kanye West 1% - now that 47% for Biden becomes 40% and those “anti-Trump” votes just got him elected again.
That’s why our voting system sucks. We don’t have ranked choice or another option but to vote for someone we don’t necessarily like.

Yeah those are the major ones thought the Democratic Socialist Party is growing.
There is also progressive and workers parties. There are a ton of them.
I just read my pamphlet and look at records of people and align with who is on a similar page as me.
The presidential election is more strategic because it’s not a popular vote. Which it should be.

I think it'll have to be a little more aggressive than a simple protest but I guess it couldn't hurt but tbh...I dont think people truly want change...we became comfortable and complacent and would rather go along with the show.

Locally we’ve put 3 people from our protest groups on city/county commissions/councils and two are running write in candidacies.
Well, we shall see what happens. It usually becomes a different story once in there tho.
Maybe. But we can hold them accountable because we have personal relationships with them. And they don’t fall asleep on zoom meetings with the public watching like the boomers that are on there now.

I think majority who have went into local offices truly had that mindset to change things but money and power can easily influence things. Lets hope that's changed.

That’s a load of bullshit. History suggests differently. BLM proves it, Stone wall proves it, the suffragettes (even though they were racist) proves it, the French Revolutions prove this. So many examples of people willing to sacrifice their lives or put themselves at risk for a better society. You’re just like the people who don’t care. Even though your life could be better it’s still pretty fucken good. You won’t risk that.

I'm wondering this because I've seen a few dumb fuckers on dxpnet and on Facebook in general who actually support Biden. At the same time I've never seen so many democrats shift away from their candidate in my life. Is it acceptable to support a pedo that sniffs children and other adults? Do biden supporters admit its ok to support someone who has more then enough footage of himself admitting he is attracted to children? Basically anyone who supports biden is supporting child trafficking and want to normalize pedos into the lgbt community. You biden supporters know this right?
