How is she scary? Oh & she was here in South Africa recently doing what aquas do best..uplifting communities. We're NOT a 'look at me, look at me' sign so that's why you probably why many don't know what she has been up to since her show ended.

She is having a 'garage sale' this month..selling most of her stuff to give to charity. I wish I could buy something. I'm sure she'll sell at a reasonable price, being so generous & all..the shipment would kill me, though.

Oprah is scary in that so many people began to think like her or do things because she said so. If it takes Oprah to request a book for you to read and the only reason you're reading it is because she said so...ermmm scary.Its good to encourage reading and healthy living, but I wonder what these peoples lives would be like if she didn't exist.

Oh, I get what you mean. People are dumb & always seem to be in need of a person to follow hence all the obsession with prominent people. There are those with THAT mindset though, they'll 'follow' anything just to be 'cool' or 'in style '...I doubt the rest of the world was as affected by Oprah as some of these above mentioned people. I loved her show because it was interesting & educational..but I sure as hell wouldn't pass out if I saw her down the street. Admiration, not worship lol.
