as for OCD, there are two programs out now that deal with hoarders. one of them is on A&E. i'm glad that it's getting more attention because for so long, it was the opposite of hoarding that was popularized. for those with OCD whose behaviors manifest themselves outwardly, it's easier to see the affliction. in other words, if your house looks like this...

it's A LOT easier to diagnose your condition. it'll still be difficult to "fix" but a visiting relative for example KNOWS you have a problem even if you don't.

on the other hand, i remember seeing a program where a guy believed that he would molest children (OCD-Sexual Obsession). he NEVER molested a child and had NO desire to sexually abuse a child and yet, he couldn't escape his thoughts. of course he felt shame and who could he tell that would understand?

i mean, he knew he would never act on the thoughts but "i keep thinking about touching kids" isn't an easy thing to say. so what he did instead was avoid children at all costs. he even moved far away from relatives to avoid being around their kids. he increasingly isolated himself because kids are everywhere. so people such as this dude will go undiagnosed and generally won't seek help and it's a shame because they suffer inwardly.

this is why it's so important to not trivialize conditions IMHO as there are real people who really suffer.

but why is a grown ass man taking time out of his day to write a malicious song about a boy, recording said song and posting a thread about it? why is that same man responding in this thread and another thread when he thinks his boy nemesis has an alter-ego?

why is a grown ass woman so possessed that she thinks the same child is stalking her while she simultaneously stalks someone else? she not only stalks another individual, she announces her creepy behavior publicly as if she's "in the know."

i personally would like to get this back on topic as it stopped being on topic the moment an idiot posted a vid of a flying moose but hey, this is "normal" for some folk so if you want destructive, you'll get just that.
