Those type of people

Those people who keep updating their status on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or whatever the hell else. I really fucking hate those people. They act like everyone should pay attention to half of the shit that they post every 5 seconds and act like that "THE WORLD WILL END IF YOU DON'T LIKE MY STATUS IN !0 SECONDS". I'm pretty sure we've all dealt with people like this and we might have a relative like this, or we just maybe guilty of it ourselves. I have a sister who won't stop doing that shit and won't stop taking profile pics and changing them the same day. It get's really annoying at the fact that half of the shit she posts on facebook is trash and the other half is meaningless. It's like she's making a documentary of her life not knowing that nobody even watches it. But she has 800 friends and most of them she don't know. A case of people not caring and she hasn't realized it yet? Definitely. She's gotta be the most social Virgo I've ever had to be around and probably the most dumbest, submissive, and carefree person I've had to be around. But I still love my sis, no matter what the circumstances are. But my question is. How do you get someone to realize that no one gives a fuck about their status updates and they should chill with stat spamming?

I gave up on those social media shit and deleted all of my accounts there.
Maybe you can just unsubscribe/hide their posts, unfollow em and so on. No sweat necessary.

Yeah just block their azzes bro lol. Plus they post wayy too much personal stuff on there for me. Social media isn't my life. I deleted my FB, & im not always on twitter. Plus half of them ain't even your friends. If someone wanna reach me, they can easily call me or come by my house. Plus if you wanted to kill a hater, they post where they at every 2hrs lol. It would be easy to do haha

But for me. It's my sister. I don't want to do that to her cuz she'll flip her shit and think everyone's turned on her again. I don't even post anything on facebook rarely. But this is for my sis cuz I care.

The whole social media thing is getting way out of hand. I can't even sit down for a cup of coffee with someone without them checking for "a second" their facebook, instagram, twitter or whatever. It's a crazy obsession with making every second of your day public that I fail to understand.

Yeah I agree, you can't sit & chill with someone at all because they be on their phone. That can be very annoying. I need undivided attention or ill think im boring the person. Which I do my best not to let happen. As for your sister sniper, just ignore her. You don't always have to respond.

He's got a point. Forums and scoial media websites are two different things. I rarely update status and I don't really care much for it. I comment on topics. And made a few threads if I wanted serious answers. Facebook is nothing more than people spamming your home page with meaningless posts no one cares about and is strictly about the user of the profile. Same applies to Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and whatever else. 😐

Though Forums and social media are two sides of the same coin. They serve different purposes.

Yes that maybe the case. But you're no different if you're looking back to see if I commented on something like this. There's no exceptions to rules like this, even you myself, and others. If you wanna have a nice dinner's for Mothers day then drop your phone and get to it. And yes I realize the shit people do here is probably just as annoying as facebook but they come in threads that can easily be flagged and deleted so no one has to bother with annoying shit like that. Someone oughta do that to Firebunny. But yes people get blocked but that doesn't block people from the forums where they can proceed to troll or spam. There's no true safeguards on here than say Fb.

And yeah. I think we all really hate those people. Some of those that hate them might just be them themselves. Social media like that should put limitations on how much they can post before they start spamming.

All I'm saying is each to their own and you can block/delete/ignore what you don't want to see and not let it bother you!

Some are, some aren't. Same as with social networks really, and yeah why would forums be any different? You can become addicted just as easily. I'm sure as hell not surfing the net when I'm in someone's company. I don't even have internet access on my phone. Mainly because I think that it's rude and weak not being able to take your eyes off the phone/internet while in someone's company.


That's really my main issue with the whole social networks trend. They're taking "social" to a whole new virtual level, and not for better imo. At least before you could've only acessed them through a computer, now every crappy phone is capable of accessing internet. Can't people just leave Facebook for their alone time? Can't it wait? No, it can't wait because their life is being controlled by it. Sounds dramatic but it's true. I've seen it so many times (always with teens though) and it saddens me more than it angers me.

I agree with Theatrum. If I with someone, I give them my undivided attention. I expect the same in return. Its not something difficult to ask for right.

We all use it to our own devices, some to flirt and court and even marry others, some to help them through their problems some as complete boredom killers and pure entertainment and the obvious... Astrology! Whatever the reason it's still escapism from the real world and no better or worse than FB users!

@sweethearts it's no big deal lol. I love helping people here as long as it's no BS drama. But i never post any of my personal life or relationships online. I'm quite private, & this stuff is cool as long as it don't interfere with family time, or your time with someone else. If so, someone gonna need help lol

Well, i think people have their own right to speak or write or do anything they wanna do to express whatever they want in wherever they think best. It would be in online media even in real life.
But we also have our own right to not give a shit about that, unless you don't like to put the trash into your trash bin as it deserves.
