It’s not a business meeting guys. Just a chill lunch. I want to look a bit posh and not all office -y. It’s a marketing company

These long legs ALWAYS require my wearing high 3" to 4" heels (I am wearing a blue skirt, slit on the back), matching light baby blue top (JESUS! Eva grabs ruler to be SPECIFIC!) 15" from shoulder blade to arm, silver w/blue earrings, flawless make up and flawless hair, gold watch on left hand, right hand gold bangles & gold bracelet.
Walked into office and was told by Dennis (ALWAYS a guy, NEVER a woman), "I like the blue outfit, Eva". Sorry, no pictures, blame it on the Army (Government computer); use your imagination to visualize it. "Dress for Success".

Wear something summery. A short dress. Show off either your shoulders or your legs.Carry a killer bag.
Remember even if it is a non formal occasion you may have to work with them later on.
Dress to impress.
Never make the mistake of coming across as girly especially around work mates who are your superiors.
Personally I would go for pastels but a formal cut.

if you wear a dress or skirt ..it should not be above knees ....then again; business look codes in america are different than in europe.
what kind of figure do you have?
a high quality white t-shirt (preferably v-neck) not too tight with a tailored (black) blazer on top and simple jewelry is a good look. maybe combined with tan/beige pants.
nails tip top.
my second favorite, maybe THE favorite
it doesnt need a change of color to brighten it up a bit
but it depends on your colors (hair) and figure (slim, curvy)
PS. I am amazed at some suggestions 🙂 do people really wear some of those?

What about a pencil dress (or peplum top paired with a pencil skirt)? Chic, classy, and flattering on most body types. Maybe in a summer color, with a short cropped cardigan over top but keep unbuttoned. Swap out the cross-body bag for a larger, structured leather tote.

idk, first off was the cylindrical hat and the leather jacket thing the woman is wearing. Both reminded me of steampunk, they just need some metal in them.

I went with a flowy black tank top (that kind of trails behind) with a black and white striped skirt skirt. For shoes i wore black low wedges; I couldn’t wear high heels like I wanted to because I twisted my ankle couple of days prior.
Like this top but shorter and the longer part is sheer over cotton and the striped skirt

Big element was that it was like a rooftop outdoorsy overlooking the ocean vibe so a super fitting dress or suit would’ve been too stuffy. They were wearing super casual kind of Sunday at the country club look.
Im gonna post an actual pic of the outfit actually.

I'm sorry, my mind went into dirty mode for a second or two. Yes, the dress is lovely. 😄 You hit it right on. Nice mix of casual-ish but elegant with a marine subflavor, very appropriate for the location. Light, breezy.
If i saw you at that place bored with those execs i'd come to save you, np. Pretty dressed damsels in distress are my weak spot. 😢 😄

the skirt is a bit short. more for night clubbing... i'd wear it close to the knees myself. but if you feel comfy like that.

Well they did leave me bored at the bar multiple times! But I enjoyed my lil gin cucumber mint lemonade thingy drink lol
