Hey nano 🙂

I'm studying a case on Violence against women and children and I'm for the defendant. The chances are stacked against me but I'm studying it very carefully. 🙂

I want to be corporate and tax lawyer but I can't choose for now.

So you're defending the assailant?

I always wonder how it would be to be a lawyer and have to defend the guilty. When you come across such a circumstance, does it weigh heavy on your conscious or do you just see it as a job?

Are cops and the court system there as corrupt as it is in America?

I asked my client what reliefs he was against. He was okay with distancing himself from his wife but not with his children so we acceded to the wife's prayer to distance himself but we fought for his right to custody.

I don't want to be very adversarial in family controversies and I also want to see to it that aside from winning the case, my client follows the rule of law.

The court granted our prayers except that the custody issue is still to be threshed out in a hearing. My client is getting what he wants.

Where in India btw?

I'm okay at the office. I'm sometimes bored, sometimes fired up. I need something that challenges me so when it comes to formalities, I really get bored. I like my job though. I am basically paid to argue, write, speak up, dress up, and sometimes act. Famous lawyers are like celebrities. Hopefully I'll be one of them later in life. 🙂

Oh guilty criminals you say?

I am defending one accused of child abuse. He's pretty consistent that he didn't do it. I can't do much about that. I'll just defend him.

Yeah I miss it too! It used to suit me so much...

Yeah it's fun to be one. We have those crazy days where we push our limits and then we get back to normal. Now I'm back to feeling good and normal...

I have proof that as early as the age of 13, I already consider myself as a Gemini. Might be because of my Virgo (mutable) and Libra (air) placements; thus, the fusion. LOL.

As a Virgo, I can be hypercritical, neurotic and hard-working. It doesn't show here though because I let my Leo Moon do the talking all the time. LMAO.
