With Black or Latin-themed award ceremonies/events, you have to consider there's a cultural niche behind it.
As a historically marginalized & oppressed group in the U.S., surely Black people in the media & Black audiences have earned the right to their own award functions--at the very LEAST, they are entitled to that much.
Furthermore, it's not as though other races are completely barred from attending Black-themed award ceremonies, nor listening to/purchasing music made by Black artists, watching movies & television shows featuring black actors & idolizing their favorite black athletes.
With Latin-Americans, it's different because the "Hispanic" or can be accurately applied to White(European descent),multiracial/mestizo, indigenous American & Black Latin/o/as so long as they have cultural ties. Latin-American themed award shows are not racially divisive.
As for Asians/Asian-Americans, I suspect you don't see as many publicized award events held in their honor because they didn't have anywhere near the same experience of race-based oppression nor adversity in the U.S.(although they face/have dealt with backlash & negative stereotypes tied to race).
Whites, on the other hand were always awarded the "benefit of the doubt" throughout the course of Western civilization, by virtue of their race. Arguably, that's the key distinction accounting for why we don't have awards geared specifically at our race.
And given the facts, it sounds preposterous & horribly entitled to complain that another race is eligible to receive specific awards & honors that we can't have.
That's akin to a man claiming the custom of opening doors for women is a travesty for his gender, meanwhile men got to vote & run for office for centuries when women weren't afforded such privileges & had to fight diligently to attain said civic rights.
This isn't about anyone "earning" anything or anyone being "barred", or western civilization or civil rights. It is very simple if people would just drop the racism crap and read what the subject is about.

You don't see the artists winning these awards, rejecting the honor on the basis of an objection to racial separatism--separatism isn't even the right phrase IMO--more like exclusivity. It does not bar them from winning general awards such as Grammys, Oscars(etc)either.

And if my "liberal guilt" made me think I was superior by virtue of skin-tone, I'd agree with the notion you introduced--that the minorities said award ceremonies are geared at, play along because none of them NOTICE the impure implication behind winning a race/culture-specific award, and merely accept for the sake of good PR.
