I am sure there are plenty of people that feel the Emmy's /Grammy and other awards are more biased towards whites, just like BET awards is more biased towards blacks. Doesn't mean there can't be nominees/ winners from other races/ cultures etc.
I get your point though. If there was a channel specifically called White Entertainment Television the people would scream racism. However, I think it stemmed from trying to be acknowledged in the first place.
