As far as i know - this happens mostly in gay bars (gay men finding women highly disagreable). No surprise there tho. I mean, women in gay bars - are basicly - intruders. Beats the purpose of a gay bar (a gay men's world /a place where gay men go - for some men on men action - or to delight their eyes with other men). Thus, in such a place - women are in the way (chickenblocking), and also quite obnoxious - from what i read (since those women are straight - some of them display their atraction for some gay men - directly and obnoxiusly - something they would never try in a normal bar).

Which country is that (sounds like one of those places from the primitive sides of the world)? 🤔 If being gay - is illegal there, then... it's quite likely - that some those people repress a lot of stuff on a daily basis - and that can manifest externally - through antisocial behavior (like the one you noticed). I believe it's one of the former British colonies (Asian, either predominantly Muslim or otherwise). Over here it's not illegal to be gay, BUT gay sex is still illegal. There was even a point when they contemplated making lesbian sex illegal as well but it never happened (because in their minds lesbians don't exist). So if you're staying in a flat with your partner, and you have a nasty assed neighbour, they can report you for having gay sex. At that point, whether or not the police decide to enforce that law, is entirely up to them. click to expand

That sounds both ironic and hypocritical. I mean, they're trying to enforce their "so called moral standards" on others - by acting immoral themselves. We are who we are and yet - if your individuality - doesn't fit with their social expectations (or maybe - cultural is the best word) - then it's regarded as a... sin. 😒 Some religions make me wanna puke. I can't speak for the other countries where they have dominant religion - but Singapore is a secular countries. It's just that our govt. chooses to keep some very draconian laws from the 1500s. click to expand

That's what i was afraid of... Since clearly religion - is just a means of controlling the population in this countries. I mean, just imagine... if any other filed (like medicine) - would still adopt similar teachings to 15'th century... :\ That's not to say that every citizen of that country has a primitive mentality - but if the majority still go those old ways then, in a way... most still do.
