i was recently rejected. the reason being given to me was that i was too smart for her. it sounds like bullshit to me, would someone please help me wrap my noodle around this?

another thought i've been having is that maybe she's just trying to be playful. i can kinda go from dead serious to giant jackass in no time flat, and vice versa.

i know it sounds like i'm rationalizing and i know it's probably true. i'm just not often attracted to people in general, and i guess that's why i thought it was a unique situation.

she's very pretty, hard working, and i consider her pretty intelligent which was why i was thrown off.

I'm a lot older than her, any advantage I have over her in terms of intelligence is having the opportunity to fuck up and learn from it.
