Your Favorite Boots?

I like boots.

I think boots are very under represented today, everybody wears gym shoes these days. Like those Yeezys and them Adidas and Nikes that look like Yeezys.

When I was younger I would wear Vans and Air Force Ones.. I still fuck with AF1.

But today I'm hopping to see some chukka boots, Chelsea boots or just a fine pair of leather boots on the men's side.

Ladies can show they favorite pair too..

Boots are expensive, long lasting, durable and classy.

These days everyone looks like they about to go fight a ninja or they ready for the gym.. And I have to remind myself, that this Mothafucka got a gut and love handles.. They not COMING FROM or GOING TO any gym.

And then shoes are getting uglier and uglier these days.. I notice rappers wearing these ugly ass Balenciaga gym shoes, and it's like, man...

You got Jordan's which has been around for fuckin forever. Jordans are cool, I think some are ugly too though.

I think after a certain age - put your Jordans in a case or hand them down to somebody, because to be grown as fuck wearing some J's just screams "I'M A REAL BOY" on some Ponnochio shit.

I DON'T take a man in some J's seriously, first off. I never will and I don't give a FUCK.

I notice people that wear them lack maturity, or are basic as fuck. So basic that you can't have a conversation about anything going on in the world with they ass.. All they know is what new hot shit dropped last week.

Men that wear Timberlands are cool as shit, I guess. 8 times outta 10, they are "that nigga". A guy you know that's gon stomp yo ass out.

I don't think people with little feet should wear timbs, cuz the shit look funny.

Women that wear Timberlands are cool, they ain't your average female, obviously..

She looks interesting from afar, but talk to her and you'll be left disappointed.

But I PERSONALLY made the conscious effort to stop wearing Timbs.

I believe the logo is racist..

It's a tree and they added a noose to the lacing of the boot these days.



They say it's a turn knot, but I don't want NO FUCKIN KNOT by a tree on my shoes.

So whether it's true or not.. I just don't look at Timberland the same and I think they make men of color look basic and stereotypical, and people pre-judge off our shoes.

I own a few boots.. I'm aiming to own some Grenson's which are like $ 400 dollars.. We always looking for unique ways to show we got money.

The ones w/ the zips? I liked those when they came out.

Yeah I also feel like the insole support on the premiums feel a lot better over time compared to the basics. A couple friends who had the basics have told me they feel like the toebox warps more over time as well.

Dr. Martens was for punks back in the 60s and 70s, and to my surprise... Black people were punk too. I knew we were part of the revolution, but we covered all areas of the revolution.. And even if punk is a music genre as well, we also did that - pretty much pioneering it as well, because fast guitar strumming came from speeding up The Blues; which I'm sure you know was our genre.



Yeah you setting a trend for the young bitches though, because young people starting to dress beyond their age again like how young people dressed grown back in the 90s..

When I was a kid, young people - like myself, just never stopped dressing like teenagers...

But my generation is starting to dress beyond our age, I'm noticing..

I fell in love with Dr. Martens during the grunge era. I was an art student with

a focus in sculpture... the only female sculpture student, the only black.

My professor was an ex-marine.

We melted down a crucible full of bronze for plaster casts and he asked who wanted to poor. Marine was anxious but he let me grab the other handle. I showed the boys I was scrong. They high fived me... me and my Dr. Martens. I was the only black art student.

We melted down a crucible full of bronze for plaster casts and he aske who wanted to poor. Marine was anxious but he let grab the other handle. I showed the boys I was scrong. They high fived me... me and my Dr. Martens. I was the only black art student.

That's cool that you studied sculpting in school.. It's always weird being the token, but you got through it.

I mean, shit.. They got so many different boots. You should get another pair.. It's timeless and ageless. They even got some some that go up to your knees.

But don't forget they capable of kicking a fuckin hole in somebody cranium AHAAA..

Got enough leather long and thigh highs and in some unique colors: white, off white, navy blue, red brown, burgundy...

Then, some cloths and swade. I'm done for a while.
