Are your Sun & Moon an odd pair? Does your Moon scream left when the Sun wants right? How do you find a middle ground?

I have Sun in Pisces, Moon in Virgo. I mean, on the plus side it strips away all the fluffy Neptune nonsense, the downside is my Sun can't cope with the self-criticism or the aftermath of making blunt comments😛

My sun is Virgo and my moon is Libra.

People may say that I have the mind of a Virgo, and the heart of a Libra. It says that my Libra moon makes my Virgo sun a little less intense and more manageable (which I can see haha).

I really am in constant battle with myself.

Don't see a prob>> virgo sun/scorp moon. It makes me special😄 (in tha head)

Aries Moon, Taurus Sun. They co-exist quite happily actually, it's my Venus I find that gets me into the most trouble. 😛

Earth and water like go together duh!!!

They absolutely do. My Venus is so soft and in love with love though. Loves to be in love. I have to struggle with common sense when I'm over the moon for someone. I'll be at one level way up high, someone else not on the same page. It sucks on occasion.

Cancer Sun, Gemini Moon. I'm such a mess. Water and Air do not mix.

But I love it. At least my moon helps me to be more rational and logical, but then my mental processes are all over the place. When I'm a mess, I'm really a mess, because I'm just all over the place.

Aqua/scorp, its a constant battle. Its like split personality disorder. One minute im all intense (obsessing etc), the next i couldn't be arsed about anything.

Sun Virgo Moon Pisces my moon makes me feel waaaay toooo emotional. Its bad and it sucks almost like being borderline bipolar. My daughter is Gemini sun and Sag moon not quite sure how's that going to be like for her.

Leo sun, virgo moon. I feel like a virgo with an edge and some panache. Refined yet wild. Reserved yet outgoing. An introverted social butterfly. All business AND play.

Now that my best female friend is a chatty libra, I can see just how much I live in my head and how much more I feel my virgoan side.

My Sag moon is constantly undermining and questioning the judgment of my Cancer Sun. When the two agree it's a beautiful thing.

Pisces Moon/ Taurus Sun here! I am analytical, pragmatic, stable, and dependable. I DO NOT like change... However, my Pisces moon throws that all out the window when my emotions get a hold on me. The ebb and flow...change is inevitable lol ::le sigh:: :-)

Well, looking on the bright side, having a Capricorn moon does ground my libra sun quite a bit. But on the other hand, my cap moon also tends to make me way colder at times than I really need to be. And really, really secretive, as well a protective of my feelings and heart. Which can be a total pain in the butt. And mistrustful, without there being any proper reason. Though I am practical and logical because of my cap moon, so that's a plus.

Cancer sun Sag moon is like a constant battle with me.
My sun tells me I want to sit on my ass and do nothing and my Sag moon tells me I want too experience things and have a full and interesting life and that 'Why not? Just go' Kicks in.

Virgo sun, Scorpio Moon... I'm also a type 1 diabetic :/ which can have a huge impact on my moods.. Somehow I manage... Knowing astrology has actually helped me out. I like Candeh15's quote,

In that exact boat...exact same placement in my chart...I feel like I am spinning in circles all the time

Mine's even weirder. My sun is Gemini and my moon is Capricorn.

I'm a lot more "earthy" or sense-bound than a lot of Gems are probably, and the influence of Capricorn (and Scorpio ascendant) give me I think more of a focus on things like sexuality and finance, and I guess in some ways that conflicts with Gemini being such a mental, airy, "head" sign.

My ex that I was with for six years said I was literally two people. I also had someone else comment, a guy, that he knew he'd seen both sides of me, but I think it's common in Geminis to be two people anyway.

It's just that my second personality I guess is so influenced by my moon that it gives me a chilliness that most people don't associate with Geminis.

I have a Gemini sister and I'm more introverted, "darker," more psychic, more emotionally intense, and am a lot colder with strangers, and can even behave more dominantly, and she perceives me as being more focused on things like social class or money, I guess?

She is a lot more outgoing, when she was younger it seemed like she went out every night, my mother claims she changes men like her underwear, but she's consistently bubbly, upbeat, friendly, courteous, helpful, social, etc....or just not there at all. She doesn't have a lot of heaviness weighing her down, I don't think. Her moon is in Aries, though, so she's not "sappy" or anything.

In many ways she's a more stereotypical Gemini.

But my mom says that Gemini sister and I are both her most independent daughters, and her most intellectual. We are both independent, we've both traveled more than our other sisters, neither of us have children yet, and intellectually we are similar, we have great conversations, I really think mentally I click with her better than my other two sisters.

I really should do my Aquarius sister's chart, because even though she and I don't get along as well, and we aren't the same mentally, I feel like she and I are more similar in the way we express feelings, and even in some of the music we like, and things we're attracted to, I wonder if she has a lot of Scorpio placement in her chart, actually.

Moon / Your relationship with your Mother:

Yeah I've heard that Moon in Capricorn has strained relationship with mother - TRUTH. My mother and my father divorced when I was a baby, my grandparents raised me (they were able to give me more security etc.) and while my mom loved me, I always viewed her as being kind of a weak fuck-up. She's a very loving person, she means well, but she just did not win at life as a young woman and she ended up with four kids, and now that she's older we're a lot closer and she's a lot more stable (she's an Aquarius, and so was my dad) ...but I have the most distant relationship with her from all of my sisters.

Also Cap moons experience a lot of criticism from their parents who expected perfection from them, and yes, my grandfather was like that, but especially the woman he married when my grandma died, she was a hard-ass, so I also had the critical stuff from them.

My mom isn't critical though, I already explained though why the distance was there. I think I am more critical of her than she is of me.

My Gemini sister is the closest to my mom of all of my sisters. My mom can't seem to get along with other Aquarius. She and my Aquarius sister fight like dogs, and obviously she ended things with my dad when I wasn't even old enough to remember them being together.

So I guess in a way I do get along with my mom better than Aquarius. She's even told me she prefers me to Aquarius sister. But the distance is still there because of my childhood, and also because I've spent much of my adult life living on the other side of the country.

My third sister is a Capricorn, btw. I love her to pieces.

Virgo Sun Leo Moon here. Quite having difficulty with my PR skills, to be honest. Virgo likes to be at the backstage but the Leo wants to be in the spotlight. There's a compromise however: I like it when one person (just ONE person) for any given time praises me. But when it's a bunch of people, I become rather shy... @_@

Oh gosh, yup! I have a Gemini Sun and a Virgo Moon. My mind doesn't give me a break, it's constantly running and I'm always hard on myself. I find that keeping my mind occupied on other things tends to help. I usually end up helping others sort out their problems because it brings me the most peace and joy.

Someone mentioned being an introverted social butterfly and I completely identify with that description, too. Crowds aren't my thing, but when it's one-on-one I tend to open up very easily. One minor irritation is having a spontaneous urge to do something, but reassessing this urge until I talk myself out of doing it. ;_;
