NO.

He is quite sensitive. Btw, I watched 1922 on Netflix last night but the novella is sooo much better.

But if you read Lisey's Story, one of my faves from him, you ll discover a very sensitive Virgo.

''“There was a lot they didn’t tell you about death, she had discovered, and one of the biggies was how long it took the ones you loved most to die in your heart.

Sometimes she'd go a whole day without thinking of him or missing him. Why not? She had quite a full life, and really, he'd often been hard to deal with and hard to live with. A project, the Yankee oldtimers like her very own Dad might have said. And then sometimes a day would come, a gray one (or a sunny one) when she missed him so fiercely she felt empty, not a woman at all anymore but just a dead tree filled with cold November blow. She felt like that now, felt like hollering his name and hollering him home, and her heart turned sick with the thought of the years ahead and she wondered what good love was if it came to this, to even ten seconds of feeling like this.”

sounds like a book i'd love to read.

i love Virgo's writing. One of my faves is Paulo Coelho...there's something very very deep about Virgo's thinking...very much like a Scorpio.

although honestly, some of StephenKing's stuff is a also more mainstream, just when he wrote the "dome" for tv series netflix?

it seems very very mainstream. But he has done some magnficient work such as "Dolores Claiborne"

and "Green Mile" both stories me and my husband really enjoy. He specially loved Dolores Claiborne, because of the story too and the character's deeply need for revenge upon a predator upon an innocent.the themes around family.

just how the story folded, so beautifully done.

its a book where he imagines he dies and is still able to talk to his wife after his demise

its really heart breaking, and more like mainstream literature, without the horror gimmicks

mainstream literature is pretty good.

i love those books that are not so mainstream too the most.

capricorn authors are really really excellent, unless they go mainstream (ie Stephenie Meyer Twilight)

but that is OK too because she made millions. lol
