Just got it today since I was too cheap to watch it in theaters in May. Far better than the shitty 1998 movie that was so bad that the Japanese did everything in their power to distance themselves from it and later on had the real Godzilla to kick his ass in a fight 13 seconds long. But I watched it, it felt faster than the 1998 one and lacked a little character development. They have a sequel in the works. But since there's a sequel in the works I think they should allow Godzilla some more screen time, bring back older monsters, and do better character development. Well if you watched it what did you think?

I'm not a fan of godzilla but I loved the start when they were living in japan before the melt down it was pure escapism for me, the houses and the gardens were my favourite part lol??_..

I didn't like the monster designs, their eyes weren't organic and had mesh covering them, wtf was with that—_.looked like CGI papiermache pi?ata with pipe cleaners for legs.

it kinda dragged on a little too much for my liking

I was a fan of pacific rim when I first saw it I was shocked about how rich and generous it was in design and story but its one of those movies you only watch once and have seen it all, would be better if it had bits that made you want to watch it over and over??_..movies need to have more of that factor going on.
