The Changeling (2008) - i found Angelina Jolie to be terrific and very well-suited for this movie. Her extreme dedication and sympathey to the true and tragic events of this heartbreaking film impressed me too. Directed by Clint Eastwood, which is a big bonus and whom so everyone enjoyed working with. Loved the period costumes, too. What do people wear now, but jeans and a t-shirt for the past how many decades..lol Times were classier back then..

Last movies watched were:

Lars and the Real Girl - Ryan Gosling shines in this.

The Mist - It's a cross between being very pro-religious and very anti-religious. The end is messed up. It's definitely not the best Stephen King novel related film, but it's also not the worst.

Quarantine - Apparently the Spanish original is better because it has a less polished look, but the Spanish version was pretty boring to me. It didn't grab me immediately like the opening for this one did. There aren't major differences from the remake compared to the original, but it is easier on the eyes and takes some artistic license. Jennifer Carpenter a.k.a. Debra Morgan from the show Dexter is great.

The Final Destination - The 3D aspect was pretty cool but aside from that, there really isn't anything unpredictable compared to the other Final Destination installments.

Human Nature - The director, Michael Gondry is genius, but this film managed to be so overly bizarre that it ended up going completely over my head. I'll have to watch it again when have more time to pay attention to it because I missed a few scenes.

Just watched Inception and my husband and I both thought it was "meh...". I mean, it was well done, but not sure what all the hype was about. We thought our heads were supposed to explode or something. Maybe it was more impressive on the big screen? Amused to find out that my husband wouldn't kick "Juno" (his name for Ellen Page)out of his bed. Is she hot? I never knew that. I still think of her as a pregnant teenager!

Disappointed with True Grit, not very Coen Brother like however the 14 yr gal steals the show. Watched The Fighter and thought it was highly engaging and worth every penny.

*Ahem* ... *adjusts jacket* ... AngelKeeper you do realize the film is based on the novel? That's probably why it didn't have any of the usual plot twists and shocks that usually infests a CohenBrother film.

It still had beautiful shots of the scenery and realistic violence.

The film was perfect.

Yawn...well i believe the original to be better and yes i do realise it based on novel, however it was rather disappointing coming from a Coen Brothers fan. Perhaps you are enchanted by above average films?

The violence resembles one from a Jason Statham flick, hardly realistic but then again having 4 henchmen fire at Jeff Bridges and miss could be acceptable if your name happen to be Mr Bean.

The original is good but no way better! It's too hollywood and clean. And yeah, how those henchman all missed wasn't the most realistic thing iv'e ever seen but Jesus Christ suspend your belief! And Bridges character was the supposed to be the best of the best and a total badass, and i thought when so and so got shot in the face was pretty darn horrific

I watched Blue Valentine, it was touching, but i couldn't stop thinking how big Ryan Gosling's willy is! You see an outline of his willy and it's ridiculously big. Like massive. So yeah i couldn't concentrate and thought that perhaps i was seeing things, which is easy to do cos if you have something on your mind of course you're going to start seeing it.

I highly recommend Dirty Pretty Things, what a movie, i'd watched it before ages back and it was on tv recently.

Magnum Force - Clint Eastwood. Lovin' my Dirty Harry collection, among others. Loved Gran Torino, and Escape From Alcatraz would be my ultimate Eastwood favorite. Who's cooler than Clint, even to this day..

Callahan's trademark weapon, the Smith & Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum revolver, was named the second greatest movie weapon of all time, behind the light-saber from Star Wars.

"Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" LOL
