What is your favourite album of all time and why?

What is your favourite album of all time and why? With me, although I have a large and varied music collection, I think I like heavy rock best and thus my FAOAT is "Headless Cross" by Black Sabbath. I often find listening to dark, angry music to be very therapeutic, and for me this is the best album for that purpose.

'The Wall' by Pink Floyd! I listen to it a lot when doing my artwork. The whole album is just so good! I was so attached to it, I got the vinyl for it.

I understand what you mean when you say that type of music is good for healing. I see it as being transported to a place of that deep emotion, where it may have been locked away in the sub-conscious. It kind of releases all that pent up bad energy.
