there is something so melancholic and eerie about this piece .....i am trying to figure out which instrument might be causing this vibe ....maybe clarinett?

Geez... finally!!! After countless years trying to determine the composer/piece, here you waltz in with it. Cheers woman! By the way, wasn’t there a Balkan movie or a series with this composition as it’s main theme? Sve hoću da kažem “Otac na Sližbenom Putu” but I’m not sure! Good one!

Haha nice word play there and anytime seko 💗.....hmmmm možda dr. shiwago? Al nisam sigurna ....🙏 eyes wide shut also uses it. You hear a song/piece and then hear it after many years just to realize how much you missed it? Been on a loop because I cannot pinpoint what is making it creepy /beautiful.

Haven’t seen Dr. Živago thus I’m unable to comment on that but it’s appearance in movies:series is inconsequential to what you described in terms of nostalgia with a drizzle of ominous. You mentioned it yourself although in a different context, (and I think it’s a big part of the vibe it gives off) is that it’s “on the loop”.

I find many carnival/carousel rides use the underlying beat of this piece in their repertoire. Not to mention there’s been plenty of creepy movies centered around carnivals so perhaps some subconscious correlations exists there!? Just a wild guess.

Speaking of which, I stumbled upon an article revealing as to why we get goosebumps when listening to certain types of songs/music. Perhaps I should’ve read it for some more insight.
