If your reading stuff online they aren't the best resources regarding numerology... at least not yet anyway...

I just got into numerology a couple a days ago. I wanted to post this in the numerology room but I only wanna know my fellow scorpios' lifepath number. I know this thread is gonna take days to pick up lol so dont rush to answer...

so it would go
0+6=6(month)
2+6=8 (day)
1+9+8+8=26(year) if when you add any number and it comes to a double digit

I am new to numerology and just trying to grasp the subject.After reading a few articles on numerology I came to know that you should choose your career based your life path number in order to be successful.I see a logic in this otherwise why so many celebrities would tweak their names according to numerology.The article here turned my head. After using software,s available online I came to know that my all important life path number happens to be 6.and I should be doing one of the following things according to this article.
"..... construction, carpentry, mechanics, engineering and land-based work."
But there is one big problem.None of the above interests me.Being a Maths graduate I want to pursue research in this field but my life path number does not permit this.
No I fear not finding success in the field of my choice as its against my life path number.
What should I do?
