Do any other pisces notice people tend to not take you seriously at first?

Like they think we're timid or some shit? That is of course till we have one of our pisces extremes. Then they finally take notice. I also feel like people are afraid to give into us. Which is annoying! Also afraid to show us emotions. Like it is gonna fuck us all up. There was a tragedy in my family last week and I don't think I was expected to be the rock of the situation but I was.

Also I despiseeeeee when people play dumb. As if we cannot read them like a book.

I guess maybe it is not so bad to have to prove yourself to be taken seriously but at the same time it can get annoying depending on the extreme. Tho I kinda like being underestimated.

Cuz I will verbally shank a bitch if need be! :p

First off, who the HELL started "for serious?" I'm about to stab the illiterate douchebag who starts these retarded terminologies...

I have the same issue that you speak of, from time to time. I blame my Pisces rising, mercury, and cusp aspects, I guess. I can totally relate.

It's pretty lol worthy when you wail on them for their bs. They're shocked and have no idea how to react. I have had people tell me "BUT YOU'RE AN ARIES!! WTF IS ALL THIS??" *points to placements*

So far, all the guys I've been involved with in some way have tried to push with me because they think they can for some reason. But when I put my foot down, they're shocked and/or butthurt. SORRY. :/

Oh and they think playing dumb works, too. I lol because it's like yeah, I'm not new.

Lmao it is great when you leave them speechless. Tends to happen at my job when I've had enough and just go the fuck off.

And yeah its retarded when you do go off and then they think its not a big deal or some shit.

Yeah. I have some of these problems also.

I can understand where some of it may come from because I try to act very go with the flow and cut off. I try to keep my distsnce. I'm also very strong willed and strong spoken. This makes others timid. They feel like if they open up or talk to me, I'm going to "judge" them. I'm not, I'm just listening and analyzing them or the situation is all. There really isn't much thought put into anything other than my main interests, as sad as that may be. So judging you isnt on my priority list.

The dumb card? Bugs the crap out of me. Especially at work. It is so easy to read someone who is trying to play you.

I guess it is what it is, right?

Yeah I am pretty go with the flow too. Then if something messes up the flow I speak my mind. Prolly over do it. Then people act dumb or surprised. Especially at work.

Yeah it is what it is.

Ugh, I just went through this with the Libra guy I was seeing. I knew exactly what had happened and I just finally got sick of not knowing and holding off on bringing it up and I just let him have it. Downplaying everything I pointed out and backpedalling like crazy.

Yeah, fuck you. :/

Agreed- "people" They're just so freaking amazing in their bs at times.

I sorta want to think it's related to our lack of fire as I noticed on the other thread. I totally get you on death in the family and for some reason ending up being the rock for everyone, it's like hey you know I feel too right? *shrugs*

The work situation you pointed out nights and pisco, it's identical to what my situation use to be. Read somewhere that people with lack of fire tend to assert themselves in a weird way that rubs off the wrong way but yeah I relate to all of it. It wasn't til I ended up being the boss that I really had to practice being more direct and realised part of it really was the way I portrayed and communicated with the rest of them.

I know I'm not a fishy but I have a lot of it everywhere else 😛

I am very serious most of the time.

At work I just hate when people are not there to do their work and just start to talk about other things, specially when in group or team.

Yeah good point about the lack of fire. I think it makes a different kind of energy. Like we are subtle until just reaching a breaking point.

This is mainly a function of your youth, my friends. Just wait `til you get older.

You see, we are admittedly a "weird" bunch, but in a beneficial and constant way. As you get older, you'll notice the other signs getting increasingly neurotic as life takes its inevitable toll. We just stay the same. Ironically, we end up looking "stable" by comparison.

AD22, I'm sorry for your loss, but what you are describing you will see again and again. Let 'em all talk and write about how wishy-washy and inconstant we are. Better they not know about our resiliency and sang froid. We take on enough as it is, IMO.

But eventually, if you're around the same people enough, they'll take you quite seriously.

Get used to being the "go to" person.

I concur

Yes. lol. And I do prefer it this way for all the reasons mentioned above. People think I'm sweet, mild, perhaps a bit dim. Shy, nervous. So they treat me like that. And that's not even me trying to manipulate. That's just what happens when people meet me and I don't have anything interesting to say, or I don't find them interesting enough to talk to. I love the humour of such assumptions, I love the humour when said assumptions are eventually proven pathetically incorrect, and I love it for the fact that I don't take people seriously enough to really care. It's just a game that I never agree/intend to play, but always find myself in the middle of. But it's an entertaining game.

SOMETIMES it does annoy me if people start treating me REALLY stupid. But then I feel that much more pleasure in part two when I say/do something above their heads.

I can relate a lot

Agreed.

Why are we so ready to break when we lack that fire? I really dislike that about myself sometimes. I don't have patience for other peoples BS or stupidity. I can see the lies or betrayal and it bothers me but I always try to shrug it off, then eventually, I kind of go off on that person because they continue to do it. I don't stand for it. I guess I give others a chance to prove their worth to me and that's why I ignore or shrug off certain instances but once it's a continuos act on their part, I lose my will to ignore and become very verbal about how i can see how they are acting and how it needs to change.

Come to me as you are. I prefer someone who is true and has worth through their own flaws and qualities. Don't pretend or become two faced with who you are with others. It becomes apparent and you lose either way.

*pisces shrug*

People used to not take me seriously and think I was really timid. That doesn't happen much anymore. People realize that I don't get emotional easily and they don't think they can take advantage of me. But they still find it easy to open up to me. I guess I'm a bit more assertive than I used to be and that makes all the difference.
