The interviewing area was open .. I couldn't hear anything being said, but had a visual .. two people were before me and neither of them could keep eye-contact while thinking about answers, they took far too many seconds to answer the questions, each interview only lasted about 5-6 minutes.
Here I come .. assertive, engaging, quick-minded, intuitive .. within the first three minutes, the HR manager stopped the interview and brought over the owner, who then bombarded me with questions, while I served right back over the net instantly with approaches about how I can overcome the obstacles, rather than focusing on the problem "itself" which would show them that my mind would concentrate on minimizing my avenues in which to take to find resolution.
For 25 minutes, the owner and HR person grilled me .. and never formally dismissed me, rather waited until .. I .. was satisfied that the interview had run it's course and then gave me phone numbers and email addresses for contact if more questions came to mind.
Well, well .. what do you think? It may sound stupid to ask, but, I haven't worked in a long time .. did I nail it? Did I do it right?
