It's been said that Pisces men have this ideal or dream image of what a woman should be. And, as has been mentioned in other posts, if one does not fit such an image the fish will swim away.

However, if not 'perfect' in his mind's eye, will he generally make an attempt to mold her into what he is looking for or what he wants her to be?

Romantic and sentimental, yes. Doormats? *laughs* Better look deeper, NDR; you seem to be mistaking patience, compassion, and an easygoing nature for weakness. I personally wouldn't fuck with a Pisces - there's more to them than you obviously realize.

As for the original question... sure, Pisces look for their perfect match, their perfect love. But doesn't everyone, really? And since Pisces are so accepting and forgiving of most flaws, and they do tend to wear rosy glasses, I wouldn't say that Pisces "swim away" when they realize their potential partner is imperfect. More like when they realize that person has certain flaws or characteristics that they simply cannot or will not tolerate. Also, you may think you're "fooling" a Pisces when you have a hidden agenda or less than honest motives... but trust me, you aren't. For awhile, they may even accept it, go with the flow, see if it changes, or if they can live with it that way. If they cannot, or if they tire of The Game, they swim away.

Are you kidding? Molding someone takes will.

They're overly romantic, sentimental little doormats.

Trust me. Do watcha want with 'em. They'll come back begging for more....

And can't get her back, 'cuz she's head over heels for the "weak, spineless, doormat" Pisces guy!

Funny how that works 😉

I was thinking more along the lines of biting the pillow she was face down and screaming into 😄
And Pisces guy probably didn't have the grace to even stop when he walked in and yelled, "WHAT THE FUCK?!!?"

But your twisted mind is awesome too!

lildol im not sure who said that.. but we realize that your not perfect.. nor do we expect you to be.. and we dont attempt to mold anyone into what we want.. they are already what we want, with all their "imperfections"

I was wondering because he has frequently brought up my girlfriend saying "I thought you weren't going to hang out with her anymore" (as HE thinks she is a bad influence and that he thinks that she is a user and spoke of the audacity she had for telling me that I should have lied; although, maybe that won't come up again as I reassured him that that wasn't my style and that I am my own person and make my own decisions and reminded him "but, I didn't lie" his tone of voice seemed to change at that point with a calm understanding of that is who 'I' am).

But, he does throw things about about 'training' me, 'work' on making me a worthy woman (up to his standards), and 'work' on me being my own individual (I take it he wants me to be an extension of him? IDK). He even has an ad out on a singles website and he's looking for an 'updatable' woman. (no, I did not meet him online).
