Maybe he feels guilt about being ready to move on. I mean, you’re judging him. He’s making sure people know that he loved his wife but he’s not a spring chicken and he still wants to experience life and love.

Men are different than women when it comes to becoming widows. Most older men crave companionship and generally tend to put themselves out there quicker after their spouse passes away. There’s nothing wrong with that.

All the widowers I’ve known married within a year. Most within 6 months.

I think they don’t know how to handle the grief so they attempt to move on.

I have no problem with marriage whenever. My issue is with him almost date a woman and crying about his wife...

Date of death, anniversaries, birthdays, important venues to them it will all come in waves of emotions. It’s an emotional roller coaster ride and I jumped off after 2 long years and lots of patience with him.
