What is short to you? What is tall? Would you consider dating a shorter man (Be honest*, darling)? Why or why not?For me personally (and honestly), in the same way that I don't like a short dick, I don't really care for short men as relationship partners. I've been well short men before and there's always some stupid complex. Even a confident short man probably wouldn't keep my attention for very long. its just something that I can't get over. I personally have accepted the fact that I might miss out on an amazing guy due to my standards but that's okay with me. As long as I get what I want and I am happy.
I guess I can see why some might call it superficial but I really don't care about that because in the same way that men like big boobs, smaller women, certain facial features, ect. I don't think that there's anything wrong with the woman liking a guy that's tall.
I actually saw this discussion before. It was like women got to right to deny short men and men got to deny fat women. But as they got older and the value and options dwindled, they settled until I ended up with such. I wonder if those people were either both happy, or both miserable in the relationship.

Uh, he doesn't have to be super tall. I'm 5'2, soooo, I guess taller than me but it's not a necessity. The guy I'm currently crushing on is short.
I do have a height preference. And anyone who's shorter than me. Meh got to be my height and no taller than 6

They're usually vety confident and some border on being cocky. I've dated short guys who were attracted to me, but didn't prefer a woman being taller than them and that was just awkward. Could be. Lol...the shortest I've dated is 5ft 6in. Sounds like a huge height difference, but it really wasn't in reality.
I have dated short men and would again. I'm 5'7. Of course I have to be attracted, but that usually comes from a combination of things. Plus have you seen Kit Harrington? Hot damn!

The first two guys I dated were 6'1 and 6'3, so that sort of set the standard for me. After the 6'3 guy came the leo who is 5'11 and for some reason I thought 'oh, he's not that tall'. Being that I'm only 5'2 that's an odd thing to think. But, hey, I can't help it. I can't say I'd never date a short guy, but it would definitely be a turn off. In the end, personality still wins no matter what.

Same here, a bit over 5'10" (179cm). My 2 previous boyfriends before my husband were 5'6" and 5'8" respectively. I never particularly cared about how tall (or in this case, short) they are. I loved their personalities (cliche, I know) and wanted to be with them. When I was with the 5'6" guy that was back in college and I never wore high heels. But I remember I kinda slouched a bit just so we didn't look too odd walking together. Heh. My next bf was an older, successful musician, who in fact encouraged me to wear heels when we went out. He was so sweet about it. My husband is 6'1", but I didn't marry him for his height.
On a somewhat related note, wasn't there a study that shows the correlation between a man's finger length and penis length?

In my dating experience...every single guy that is 6ft and taller are real assholes. I swear it. I wish that wasn't the case, but they are arrogant and think that on some level, they are god's gift to women. I don't go for that stuff. It's disgusting. I think that's why I'm always relieved when a shorter guy approaches me. I've tried to erase this bias by continuing to date tall men, but there is a distinct difference in their attitudes. Shorter guys are MUCH sweeter than taller guys and they seem to know how to compromise better. At the very least they listen and are less aggro.
