Im 5'5 and my ex was 5'8ish, i'd deff prefer dating someone who is 6foot or taller. Theres just something about tall men that makes me feel safe ❤ So tall guys win for sure
In my dating experience...every single guy that is 6ft and taller are real assholes. I swear it. I wish that wasn't the case, but they are arrogant and think that on some level, they are god's gift to women. I don't go for that stuff. It's disgusting. I think that's why I'm always relieved when a shorter guy approaches me. I've tried to erase this bias by continuing to date tall men, but there is a distinct difference in their attitudes. Shorter guys are MUCH sweeter than taller guys and they seem to know how to compromise better. At the very least they listen and are less aggro.

Hey there fellow Amazonian 🙂

I too had a bit of a bias against dating tall men in my younger years. Not to generalise, but most men taller than 6ft (bar my husband, of course) would often approach me like I'd be crazy to turn them down. Ehhh, no thanks.

Plus, I was awkward growing up, always the tallest in class, towering over everyone! None of the boys would even look at me then (they would often get neck strain). But in college, I stopped growing and filled out physically, and suddenly all these adonis-wannabes started circling around me. Maybe subconsciously I decided shorter men were "safe". My boyfriend in college reminded me a lot of Elijah Wood 🙂

It's funny...the only person who calls me an amazon is my oldest brother. I have an Uncle who calls me "Stilt Momma" though. LMBO!!!! I don't recall towering over other kids in primary school. I didn't gain a significant amount of height until my mid teen years. As far as filling out...gersh...that happened a little too quickly for me that it was awkward. I've just gotten comfortable in the past 10 years with being seen as "sexy". That word used to annoy the hell out of me and still does when used excessively. I would like to think that the inner person is the majority of the attraction. We really need to get away from these superficial notions. Grrrrrrrr. lol Ok, ok, I'm stepping off of my soapbox now. lol ha ha ha ha

Hmm I don't mind shorter guys, but I have somehow always landed guys who are TOO tall for my taste (like 6'5"+ and I'm only 5'3").

I would say anything between 5'8" and 6'2" is ideal for me, but I wouldn't call anyone taller than 5'6" short per say.

I would assume that most of them probably have SOME sort of complex, but I like complexes, gives me something to help them with. 😄
