Why would a pisces stare?
Why do you insist on making his every little gesture or movement into meaning something profound about you?

I'm hurt about him ignoring us hanging out so I guess I'm trying to make myself feel better by asking these stupid questions. I should just let it go I don't know why I can't :/

Okay... if he didn't respond then he isn't interested right now. If we are intrigued with someone, then we will meet them or at the very least engage with them.
Sounds like he was trying to be nice and you followed through...maybe he wasn't expecting you to do that... maybe he was and thought you would get the hint if he disengaged.
Best thing to do is... just do you. If a Pisces like you... they will find a way to engage. But tread lightly. We have a tendency to swim close and swim away.
If you can't stop thinking about him, then think is a dick or whatever that will help you get over it. You being "thirsty" isn't a good look and really back fire on you with Pisces (he could always think you would be around so he can take his sweet time if he was interested or just mess with you...some people just like being liked even if they have no interest).
Also... don't take the whole staring at people thing TOO seriously. He isn't a Virgo or anything. He could be just thinking did he leave the stove on, in his own world (us merfolk are UNKNOWN for this one) or just observing (I do that a lot and a Pisces guy I used to date loved to people-watch as a hobby).
It really isn't a sign of anything.

That is so true thank you for your advice! When I saw him today though, i just acted friendly and spoke with him a bit just for the sake of my own peace of mind knowing things aren't weird between us. I hope he didn't think I am/was thirsty :/ I just have a tendency to overthink everything. I need to let him go.

I glanced at him for one second. Soon as i noticed he was looking i looked away. I never stare at him (or anyone) I dont know how long he has been looking. But you are right 🙂

But even if he was...look at his actions. He hasn't made an effort to accept your invite and get to know you. And your realizing this. So don't waste any more time. Move onto the next.

oh no you're not reading the situation wrong I explained it badly (English isn't my first language) haha. he always stares at me a lot. Especially when he sat next to me and i could tell, without looking at him directly that he was staring at me for an unusually long amount of time and it kinda made me feel uncomfortable to be honest. But yeah you're absolutely right. all of this is pointless. he hasn't made an effort and I will make it my mission to move on and not think about him anymore. 🙂

Just bc someone looks at me, doesn't mean I think they like me or I even think into it. But idk how to describe but I read vibes from people very well and I can tell when someone might be interested or they're thinking something about me.
