astrologically not compatible signs

In the eyes of the bull....we are simple, but who is complicating things that is the question. Are you responsible? or immature? Are you ready for something meaningful or not? Are mature enough to be a parent or get married for the long haul? Are you financially secured for yourself and even to help out each other...
In my chart I tend be attracted to the ones who are air or fire signs physically, emotionally I attract water signs or mutable, so I need that balance....

and do alot of research.. you'll find that all 12 sun signs are compatible, BUT the synastry must be compatible.

I talk about it all the time because it is fun to talk about zodiac compatibility, but I really don't relate zodiac placements to relationships in this way. I believe all signs can be compatible with each other, and looking at the entire charts of any two people is where you might find a lot of answers in terms of where things will be difficult. You have to look past just the zodiac and look at house placements as well. It's pretty awesome when zodiac energy bring two people together. But later down the road, they start having serious problems and see that their house placements clash entirely.
In short, following zodiac energy can and very likely will lead to serious heart break until we learn to really learn about someone before investing. Again, your placements can make this easy for you, or extremely difficult. Ultimately, it's really up to the two individuals to determine if they are incompatible.

My mom and dad have been married going on 38yrs!!!! Mother Taurus with a Venus in Aries, my dad Sun Aries, Venus in Aquarius. They astrologically shouldn't be compatible but they've proven zodiac signs don't rule that, it's the commitment to each other and never quitting. 🙂

Where are their moons?
Virgos and Libras...very steamy in the beginning where both are in the honeymoon phase, then Libra's insecurities begin to come through and Virgo becomes nitpicky and mean.
I will also agree that I've never entirely understood the Cancer/Virgo mix. I get so bored with them, but then again that's probably more to do with my Sag Rising/Aries Moon. I'd have to find a Cancer that complimented those well.

Yes, I know also a couple, Taurus and Aries who have very good relationship for over 10 years now. There the Taurus man has Venus in Aries. And woman has Mars and Mercury in Taurus and moon in Cancer. So, if the Aries person has a lot of Earth in the birth chart then they can live happily ever after.

I've noticed with same element relationships (well, at least with water signs), the relationships can be very intense but they also can bring out the worst in each other. Of course, I've also noticed this with other pairings, but more so with water-water pairings. I haven't paid enough attention to other elements to know if it's the same for them.
I think a lot of people here tend to go very basic, though. Like lots of fire can't be good with water or whatever else. But, depending on the person, this is irrelevant. I have lots of water. Someone with lots of aries placements might help me come out of my shell and have more fun. Unless we're both argumentative or assholes, I don't see how it would be a bad relationship simply because our charts are made up of different elements. Perhaps you would have different values or perhaps not. I've talked about it enough that I'm sure everyone knows by now, but I am in a relationship with someone made up of almost all fire. And we work well together. Who would have guessed.

Oh my gosh, I was just coming to say this! My favorite partners romantically have been air signs... specifically Gems and my sexual partners have all been fire signs, and the most sensual experiences vs earth signs who I made out with but nothing carried on.
Communicatively I would say that I get along better with water and earth signs but overall, Im better with air signs....

and my double virgo father in law married a gemini sun.
he is very happy with her. It's not perfect, but no relationship is, but he's the happiest with her and she with him.

Thank you for your insight! My current fixation is a Gemini, Taurus cusp baby. And most of my favorite famous Virgo people are married to Gems with years of marriage so far. I wonder why there isnt more talk of the Gem/Virgo matching. When it does connect its magical!
I totally agree with the Gemini and Virgo being a good match. Not only with sun sign, but also Venus. My Venus is Virgo and my boyfriend has Venus in Gemini. Our Moons also match very well, mine is Scorpio and he has Capricorn. I know many, many Scorpio - Capricorn couples, they have their issues, but still the love is strong there. So, it is always good to not only look at the sun sign compatibility.
