I do see some bossiness from him....especially in the bedroom LOL but I'm ok with that. I've been that strong, independent woman since I was 18, that it's nice to give up some control. I feel like since my dad left and my divorce, I've had to play that masculine role for so long and I'm tired of it. I'm more feminine and submissive than people think. That scorpion hard outside shell is just to protect us. We are definitely much more softer on the inside, we just need someone to bring it out. It takes trust and respect for me. Once I can fully trust Pisces, I think it will be heaven (well, I hope!) 🙂

I think when a man can make you feel feminine, it's the perfect combination. Not many women who date men, wants to be in a masculine position, but sometimes it's necessary for survival.
Everything is based on trust, I think Scorpios are just hyper aware and protective of giving or receiving it. Trust is like the one thing you guys can control, since it's hard for water signs to keep a cap on their emotions, even when they think they are keeping the lid on them.
I actually like water signs for this reason, I can respect that they feel all their emotions and are comfortable with them. I find Scorpios to be very understanding, not at all like what their signs represent.
Of the 3 water signs, I think Scorpios are the least dangerous when scorned. They just don't want it to happen and try to protect themselves.
But love is a risk worth taking. You can't get very far being closed off to it.

I haven't been in a relationship in a really, really long time. This is all new to me, so yes...it is definitely out of my comfort zone. I was in a really intense twin flame relationship with a Taurus for a few years. That feeling is what I've been longing for since him, but I now realize I won't ever have that same feeling again. Not with him (Taurus) and not with anyone else. It's a once in a lifetime love. Starting to rethink everything I thought I knew. I guess I'm just venting here and looking for your opinions and experiences.
To be clear, I am not controlling of people, just certain situations where I might get hurt. My mom is an Aires and she has controlled everything and everyone even to this day.
Maybe someone can read our birth charts? 🙂
I believe there are different types of love / dynamic. It isn’t all the same.
If you are looking for depth and intensity - it will most likely be found with another Scorpio or a Taurus.
But with Pisces you will feel depth, healing, some chaos, a lot of growth… accepting that nothing is fixed - change is inevitable. They have a much more softer approach than Scorpio or Taurus, so you have to be open to experience something different if you really want to appreciate them.
Being with a Pisces could feel very healing - they have patience for our hard bits and they know how to soften that up… undo our tight knots.
But, maybe it’s time for you to move forward. Everything we do in life requires movement, taking chances if we want our environment and circumstance to change… we must change with it.
That Taurus that gave you the worst pain of your life and best love of your life - he was a gift. That experience was there to show you that those extremes can be lived and are not just imagined. But to every high there is a low. It’s just boring if you always play it safe… because if you do, you will realize your life is a flatline… and could feel quite numb . You survived him, you can handle it. Trust yourself and your ability to learn from your past - not always by saying “I will never do this again” but by saying “if it happens again, I trust that I will handle it better than the first time”. It’s just a healthier inner voice than the fearful fist version.
Maybe you can find a middle ground where love feels like it challenges you a bit, but also feels safe and comfortable. Maybe you can do that with Pisces.

I do care for him a lot. He treats me well, he's caring, we joke and laugh a lot, he's affectionate and available emotionally. He accepts my daughter, who is 18 but still lives with me. We do this thing where we text each other at the same time or say the same thing when we are talking on the phone, it's nice. He says we are connected mentally; I do feel that.
My fear is it not working out and having another divorce and another broken home. My daughter's dad and I split up when she was 1. I don't want that to happen again, and I don't want to stay with someone just for the kids.
I guess I've always wanted that perfect love, but nothing is perfect. We have to work and grow in our relationships. Also, I always thought love was instant, but I think it can also be slow and steady. You can love someone more and more over time.
Is the Pisces triggering emotions that connect to your fear and trauma?
Do you feel that the fear is unfounded or are you getting red flags? Can you tell the difference or is it all one big blur?
I’m just wondering if this fear is a little voice or something that completely takes over you? If the latter, then fear is controlling you and you need to balance that out, put it in check or else… you will be a prisoner of it.
It seems like you and the Pisces are in a comfortable flow right now. Try not to overthink so much ahead and enjoy the present moment a little bit more.

The fear is not all consuming, it's off and on. Definitely not controlling my days....so I'd say it's just a little voice in my head questioning things. He isn't triggering past trauma, but he is making me open up more which is causing me to feel vulnerable and a little uncomfortable. I know this is something that needs to happen...so I'm trying not to overthink too much 🙂
Pisces is in a hurry to get married and have a child. He is 42 never been married and no children. I'm 38, married and divorced (Capricorn) and have an 18 year old daughter. Pisces and I dated for a few months many years ago...maybe in 2010, but it wasn't serious. He contacted me in July and we've been talking every day since. He lives 2 hours away from me, he has always been the one to drive down to see me, but I'm going up to see him tomorrow night and staying over the weekend. It will be nice to see how we are when "living" together. He coaches soccer, so on Saturday, I get to see him in his element at his game. I think it'll be fun and we will get to know each other better 🙂
There might be a few things happening here that are all mushed up and not separated, therefore making you feel the panic.
1st thing, take time with yourself - remove the need to please others - and decide if that is something you would want for yourself? Do you want to have a baby REGARDLESS of what happens in the future? Are you ready for that responsibility?
2nd - don’t decide on his schedule. You must feel out living with him FIRST. See how that works out for you. Get a feel for the dynamic and how well you both work together. Give it at least a year to feel him out. You need to know the REAL him before you decide to do something big like this with him.
Figure out how he behaves with people that don’t agree with him. Does he make their life a living hell?!?! Or is he kind and full of heart? This will help you see how he could potentially behave with you if things don’t work out the way he wants it to work out.
Is he willing to compromise? Does he work with you or just wants things HIS WAY?
That’s awesome that you will see him this weekend. I would say, observe him, look out for those things and try to enjoy yourself too…. But, don’t try to please him with major decisions like this right now, hold on to that a little longer and live with him as much as possible to REALLY get to know him and have an idea of how he works as a team, how he is with responsibilities, with children… with you when things don’t go his way.
Once you start living with him more, the anxiety will lessen and you will know more clearly what you want to do.
