How is it happening that some of us without ever seeing each other connect immediately and pm and exchanged emails and becoming some kind of friends and totally on sync...

when with others we just don't care or fight or hate each other dearly without even knowing who is who?

And rarely but happens we hate each other but later we mild up and start being see/saw people?

HOW and WHY is it happening?

Do you think if we faced each other it would be the same?

Yes, I think it is the same as in real life. In fact in real life just because of the vibe we sometimes are more free and open with some people while with others we cannot hold any conversation. On the internet maybe we respond to thoughts/pics first, in real life it is mostly the vibe. It is funny some people you hardly know can tease you chat with you instantly like they know you from ages, and yet some people you know from ages but never know what to say.

Here we focus on personality more than other factors, that makes us judge more basing in "real" compatibility, as we can't see (normally) a face, clothes, ethnicity/place ppl are from, culture, religion...

These things usually divide ppl.

Here you realize you can have more in common with sb of a totally different culture than with your neighbour.

and if things don't work out we still can blame scorpios and leo moons.

sometimes I blurt things out that I don't like...my lack of boundaries....my man doesn't mind, of course...

but can you imagine in real life..i hear the neighbors yelling, and I go up to their door, knock and say

'I don't like how you guys fight. you need to tone it down."

I for one cannot relate to connecting with nobody here. I just posts. I try staying on topic of each and every threads and leave it at that. I very seldom if at all pm anybody here nor make conversations with anyone. Of course I will ONLY if the other party is willing to converse with me first. And how can you be friends with strangers online anyway? If something bad happens to you you think these folks here will travel to your residence to look after you?

Not for everyone. Here (discussion forums), communication is filtered based on topics. Offline communication has a different filter.

The best relationships that seem to work online-offline are the ones who share similar interests and/or start off with light conversation. Too upclose and personal burns the candle pretty quickly.

Most of us want to belong. So we mold and create blindspots for certain people who we wish to have/keep in our circle. Except for mama P-, she keeps it authentic.

Instant gratification. Facing each other is equal but since is not centralized as a site, can be more dispersed.
