Let the good girl/guy get away... Chose to Stay in a Toxic Relationship

Just wondering... Has there ever been a time where you chose to go back to a toxic relationship, rather than continue with someone who was a really great girl/guy?

If so, did you have any regrets? When you fought with your toxic partner, did you ever think about the 'good' person?

Once I am done I never look back.

This mentality screams dysfunction and a need for therapy.

I can't really recall being involved with someone toxic and someone who is clearly the better choice at the same time. However, this isn't exactly a better situation as being single and alone is still the better choice, and I would be choosing the toxic relationship over something far more healthy.

So instead of thinking, "Why am I not with this really great person?" I am actually thinking, "Why am I with this seed of Satan, spawned from the bowels of the nether realm?"

Answer is usually: The sex is fan-fvcking-tastic!

Regrets? Yes. Many.
