Ok, this is just to wonder about why men have to PRETEND their women wears the pants...but then later deeply RESENT it and HATE that she wears the pants. because it's NOT true.

let's review...

Jesse James, Aries sun, you all know the sun is STRONG in Aries and that's some ego there..

so if Sandra Bullock wore the pants, it's gonna be hell for him.

its not right that he did years ago, which failed his marriage.

I can't explain but I guess the way you came to me disapproving about posting these, 2x now, came out strange to me.

it's cool to disagree wth me, but the premise of why you disagreed with me, using celebrity couples didn't make sense to me,

because it's how I can observe relationship couples. I can talk all day about my neighbors or family members relationships but no one knows really. at least showing PROOF of these couples what they say before and after is more valid to me and I don't have to invade any one's privacy.



anyway back to topic.

These men are not pretending their women where the pants.

These women DO wear the pants.

It's not PR. It's honesty.

I know someone who is like this.

She navigates her entire marriage.

She refuses to allow him to make any decisions in the household,(raising the children or planning for the future), but will cook and clean for him as a way of reminding him that he's the MAN of the house which is quite patronizing.

He sees right through it and resents her for it. Now, he doesn't have the motivation to do anything. Still. Like a lifeless statue, and now goes along with everything she says.

Strength in a relationship is a beautiful thing. So is a sense of self-identity, but when it takes over every aspect of your relationship, then this can be quite hazardous.

I never understood the concept" I am a strong independent woman." This isn't feminism. Feminism supports equality. This includes marriage or any type of relationship. This has to be based on mutual respect. Why would anyone want to wear the entire relationship on their backs?

I love cooking my man dinner, but most of all I enjoy watching him do 'manly' duties around the house. I love sharing my viewpoints, and I enjoy listening to his.

A lot of these men are deeply, deeply insecure. Their egos can't handle the fact that their women are likely stronger and more mature than they are.

In general, I do think most men need to feel some kind of control or power in their lives -- more so than women. HUMANS need to have some element of power and control, but I do think men generally need more than women. This isn't a problem in and of itself except that a lot of men try to accomplish this by controlling women! Instead of finding their power and control through a goal or a passion in life, they try to control other human beings.

If a man is deeply secure with his position as a man, he shouldn't have a problem with a woman "wearing the pants" in the relationship. In fact, he should celebrate it. But too many men are suffering from the effects of HYPER-masculinity and confusing it with manhood. They can't be men unless they're stepping on someone or unless women step down, which is really ironic when you think about it -- these men can't be men unless a woman allows them to, lol.

I love men with strong egos.

Ego is great. It's meant to be supported and it works for you to maintain a healthy outlook on life, make ravishing love to your wife and devour enchiladas, like no man before.

It only works against you when you feed it the wrong fuel.

Wrong fuel in this case being:

1. Being afraid to confront problems with your partner when she's being unreasonable (or any kind of problems from either side).

2. Attracting the stress of leading a double-life sleeping with other people in secret, which is just unnecessary stress you don't need as a man.

I didn't watch the videos, but it sounds like these guys were afraid of their wives or themselves, or everyone. That's like feeding your ego a caesar salad when it's been begging for some honest steak and eggs, for years. Something is going to give way, in the end, until you level with yourself again.

My hubby is a cap sun, libra moon. I let him wear the pants because he earned my trust and I know that his descisions are always in our boths interest. I have 6 planets in cap and trust me I'm a pro in wearing the pants!

By letting him wear the pants I feel so much happier because he is my ideal picture of a strong, focused and responsible man. I'd never give away the control if he disappointed me in a big way or broke my trust.

He always considers my needs first and cuz of that I know that he won't fail me. On the other hand he lets me decide a lot of stuff for us but wants to have the last word on it. Thats totally fine with me. He just wants to be asked.

yeah I actually like her stance on this.

she is into the man who at least tries, so she's not big on ego on the man. she dumpd a guy who didn't try for years. I don't know their arrangement before they got together though. I haven't seen/watched all her vids, just the couple I posted.

that reminds me of the true story of the neighbor lady who lost her husband (who is now re-married) where she talked down to him and yelled at him like a shrew in public, and she's a registered nurse making a lot of money with extra shifts, and he is just a guy who makes very little. don't know or remember his job status but he was a stay at home dad for their children for a bit, but he moved out after the harpy yelling, and lived with parents and after a few years he re-married. She's still single, but she is doing great single I heard, she is taking a trip with her children to Norway, by car. so taking a few weeks off.
