Do men ever really mature—

Just that I've not seen any evidence of it, even my 57 yr old step dad is a big kid! And my brother the other week while in a party at his house, we had the footy on in the garage with his music (heavy metal) blarring in the background but that wasnt enough for him he had to turn it on almost full and you couldn't hear yourself think. When I asked him to turn it down some so we could concentrate on the game he said no this is how you're spose to listen to his music...he was the only one interested at the time!!! And he's 41!

That's what I'm getting too Bella....they show their maturity when they first meet you but it's not long before that charade disappears and your left with another kid to deal with!! I thought I'd given up my man hating ways...but they are coming back, I'm trying to fight it though...

Perhaps it's just a period of time in my stars...(any imput I'm Libra) at the moment though I'm ready to get in a boxing ring with a few people(men)!

I know it's just me, I have little tolerance at the moment and just need to stare clear of any male contact..think I've just been irritated lately by 4 so have reverted to thinking the worst of them all... Breathe slow and deep...

@Ian and this from a man that steals kisses and runs! Are you being agreeable to taunt?

@enfant, you could have a point there...find a 30 year old and then trade in when the maturity level drops? ha

Hahah yeah Bella, you know that blank look that blondes get...I GET THAT!!!

No, they never grow up and their toys just get more and more expensive with age!!! My ex husband is 43 and he still acts like he's 23! But, I kinda like a man that doesn't act quite his age because I act and look younger than I am anyway. But there is a difference between immaturity and irresponsibility..... I don't like an irresponsible man. That's a whole other ball game!

sweethearts: Do men ever really mature—

Well, let me ask: Do women really want men to mature?

From what I've seen... not necessarily!

My younger Scorpio Brother is just a Big Boy, and lots of women find that attractive - for a wide variety of reasons. But, let's face it: Grown up guys like me are not as "exciting" as the immature guys who have a long string of short-term relationships... I don't create drama, because I don't like drama - but lots of you ladies crave it...

About the immaturity...

Male dependency begins at home. Some parents do too much for their children, and they don't learn to be fully functional adults until they are (often FORCED!) to move out on their own... OR, In the case of my own parents, by the time the two youngest kids were born, us three older ones had worn them out, and they didn't have it in them to be as tough with the babies as they needed to be...

You could be on to something here. Some very good points. I know I am guilty about the maturity portion to a degree.

As I stated earlier, I like to act carefree and not quite my age. Whereas I would agree that drama is derivative of immature behaviour, I do however believe that excitement doesn't always have to be a direct result of only drama. Personally, I don't like drama and that is a form of excitement that I can do without. Nor do I want someone with a history of short term relationships. I just want someone that is fun, carefree, committed and responsible with his financial affairs and wants to have a good time with me. There is a time and a place for immaturity and sometimes it can be refreshing in the right situations.

SH - Do pigs fly? 😛 hahahaha j/k

Funny you are talking about this, I was talking to one of my class mates about this. We have come to the conclusion that most don't but if they are mature, they kinda have the boring factor going on. You, know ....just way too serious about life. Yes, it is important to be serious and responsible but not to the point where one becomes a mono tone robot. Make sense? I love young hearted men.....and have grown to appreciate their annoying immaturity. That is just me though. What can you do .....cannot beat them join them in the fun. lol

Oh I appreciate a man who has great respect and affection for their mother, because thats the way they treat women that they love but when push comes to shove he better be prepared to back me if something important comes up or I'm out of there!!! When I say important I'm meaning something in our lives...not just general bickering over nothing.

And Sometimes mother-in-laws want to include themselves in you personal problems and I wont have that!!
