- Casually dating around and opening up slowly?

Or

- Observing, then dating exclusively and starting out completely open until given reasons not to be?

Please state your Moon, Venus, and Mars, as well as any other placements or aspects you believe are pertinent.

This is a very subjective question as I don't think one answer is practically better than the other. It just depends on what you like. I wouldn't mind casually dating and I wouldn't mind being exclusive, but the point where I differ between the option I would pick is in the openness. I always go in open. I feel like if I do, the other person can get a better feel for my personality and would in turn, also respond openly and view me as an honest and real person, not someone who needs to hide away feelings or whatever else. The first option doesn't sound bad since it ends with the person opening up, anyway, but not my personal choice.

Both. Depends on the company.
Actually, observation occurs during both.
Said observation unnerves some (usually have something they're hiding), and others appreciate it and drop their walls.

Very true and very good points. I put "better" in quotes cause I had a similar thought; I almost included a disclaimer, but instead chose to be lazy. 😢

I fall more into the number 2 category, yet I find that most of the important people in my life (by their own admissions) fit more into the first category..

Moon: Cancer, 12th house
Venus: Leo, 1st house
Mars: Leo, 2nd house

This is a perfect question for me right now. I am happy I was open and completely genuine with the man I was dating exclusively. I cannot look back with regret and should it move forward I have nothing to correct.

Think cuz I don't date just to date. More like If I said yes because I already like something bout u. Not cuz I'm bored, want free dinners, ect.

Same here.

Observing, then dating exclusively and starting out completely open until given reasons not to be.

I've tried the casual dating thing and I hated it. It seemed so superficial. Obviously they'd put their best foot forward.

I'd rather observe people first. Then I'd already know if I like the person or not so this makes it easy for me to see where it leads. If I love the person, then it becomes exclusive.

Moon: Aries
Venus: Libra
Mars: Sagittarius

This is how I feel too.

I don't like that many people to casually date around.

Me either. But then that lends the question: what do you (you generally speaking, not you specifically) consider "dating"?

I like to date exclusive..however I will date casually to keep distracted and busy at times... but I prefer one dating partner..however that can get pretty intense for me..so I am learning how to not put all my eggs in one basket..Im pretty busy anyway so dating doesn't really happen very much for me. I think its better for me to date and occupy myself with different people..however I am soo picky..its hard for me to find people to date that actually fulfill my needs mentally as well as other aspects..the damn struggle

Typically if I come across someone where it clicks I take my time on that one person and stop seeing/dating anyone else.. this is even before we become "exclusive".

Better? I don't know. I just know what works for me. A blend of the two:

Casually dating, observing and opening up slowly.

Twin
Sag
Stinger

Slot those^^^placements in where ever you want M&Ms 😉

I take things slow in the beginning and carefully observe the man I'm interested in. How does he treat others? How does he treat me? Is he dependable? What are his interests? What are his values? Love takes time to grow and compatibility emerges over time.

I'm not too into the casual thing myself. Something about not seeing someone again bothers me greatly. It's like what if they're actually great. Seems like a wasted opportunity to me, but on the flip side I can see why racy fling with no strings attached seems fun. In the long run I prefer serious dating and getting to know someone. x
